Pikmin Bloom: How To Get Seasonal Holiday Decor Pikmin

Special seasonal holiday Decor Pikmin are being introduced to Pikmon Bloom. In Pikmin Bloom, players are rewarded for traveling around their environments, planting flowers, and growing Pikmin. All of this is measured through the number of steps the player takes, the farther they go, the more rewards they can claim. While there are seven different Pikmin types, each one has its own Decor version. Depending on the locations the player visits in their world will determine the type of Seedlings they encounter. For example, players walking near a park have the chance to get a Pikmin that originates from that park.

Once this Pikmin reaches level four on their Friendship, it will be given a Pikmin Bloom expedition. The Pikmin will then return back to where their Seedling was originally found. Once it returns, it will leap inside of the gift box and emerge with a special Decor item. These Decor Pikmin can be found in restaurants, movie theaters, supermarkets, gyms, and so many more real-world areas. Collecting them all is the true challenge behind Pikmin Bloom.

For a limited time, special seasonal holiday Decor Pikmin will be available to grow. This event will take place from December 21st to January 11th, 2022. If players raise up their friendship levels with Pikmin that were found from a Seedling with a Roadside Icon, it can grow into three possible icons for Decor Pikmin. These are stickers are labeled with a snowman, mistletoe, and jingle bells. Fortunately, there are tons of different ways to raise a Pikmin’s friendship in Bloom.

Leveling Up Friendship in Pikmin Bloom

At any point, players can select their Pikmin to see how their friendship is looking. It will range from zero to four hearts, with four hearts being the best. They increase in small increments depending on how the player treats them. The more time the player uses the Pikmin, the higher their friendship will be.

• Feed Pikmin Nector until its flower petal falls off.
• Send this Pikmin on Expeditions.
• Send this Pikmin to complete Mushroom Raid Battles.

Fortunately, the Roadmap Icon is easily the most common, and players will encounter these Seedling types fairly often during this time period. Although, which sticker it collects will be random. The player will have to wait until the Seedling completely grows to find out which one it will get. It also only works with Seedlings collected during this event, any Seedlings found beforehand will not collect the holiday items. The best thing to do would be to recycle any remaining Seedlings, this way, there can be room for future Seedlings to join the collection during the holiday event.
