PlayStation Now’s February 2021 additions features a few heavy hitters, thanks to headliners Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Detroit: Become Human, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds. It’s a good month for the streaming service, which has continued to increase in value over the last couple of years.

This momentum first picked up in October of 2019, when Sony announced a drastic price cut that brought the monthly and yearly costs down to $9.99 and $59.99, respectively. PS Now’s lineup of games has steadily improved since then, too. In the past, titles such as God of War (2018), Grand Theft Auto V, Control, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider have headlined the service’s monthly additions. And the offerings continue to impress with each passing month. February 2021 is no exception.

February 2021’s PS Now lineup is helmed by Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Detroit: Become Human, and WWE2K Battlegrounds. A PlayStation Blog post notes Black Ops III will remain on the service until April 29, 2021. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is set to stick around until this summer on August 2. Detroit: Become Human, along with the rest of this month’s additions, will occupy space in the PS Now library long-term. The Diablo-inspired Darksiders spinoff, Darksiders Genesis, joins this month, as well. February 2021’s lineup also adds indie darlings Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and Little Nightmares; the latter’s arrival is just in time for Little Nightmares II’s February 11 launch.

PlayStation Now’s newest arrivals provide a wide range of options for all players. Subscribers looking for a competent first-person military shooter can turn to Black Ops III. Those who missed out on Quantic Dream’s most recent adventure game get to explore a bleak Detroit-set future, in which androids are second-class citizens. And fans curious about 2K Games’ latest arcade fighter can give WWE 2K Battlegrounds a try, though its grindy gameplay and monetization left many players disappointed at launch.

That Hotline Miami 2: Wrong NumberLittleNightmares, and Darksiders Genesis round out this month’s offerings seems like icing on the cake. As the conclusion to the much-beloved Hotline Miami series, the former is a top-down shooter with brutal gameplay that constantly ramps up the challenge. Meanwhile, Little Nightmares provides a horror-laden puzzle-platformer that asks players to confront their childhood fears. And Darksiders Genesis takes the action-adventure franchise in an all-new direction, with Diablo-esque gameplay and an all-new tale. Suffice it to say, February 2021 marks another good month in the books for PlayStation Now subscribers.
