Just in the month of June alone, players are given new Spotlight Hours, a Gible Community Day, and an event that will swap the spawns of northern and southern hemisphere Pokemon. One of the first big events happening in June is the “A Very Slow Discovery” event that will focus on new and slow Pokemon. This guide will show players how they can evolve their Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro in Pokemon Go.

Galarian Slowpoke will be added to the game as part of this new event. The “A Very Slow Discovery” event will begin on June 8th and will introduce Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro into the mix. This event will come to a close on June 13th, leaving players only 5 days to complete everything they need to. It also comes along with a new Collection Challenge that will reward the player with a Slowpoke avatar item, 30 Ultra Balls, and 3000 XP. With Galarian Slowpoke joining the roster, it comes along with a new way to evolve. Here is how players can evolve this new, Galarian Pokemon.

How To Evolve Galarian Slowpoke Into Galarian Slowbro in Pokemon Go

Galarian Slowpoke will begin to spawn in the wild and appear in 1-star raid battles starting on June 8th. In order for players to evolve it into Galarian Slowbro, they will need to set the Galarian Slowpoke as their buddy and capture 30 Poison-type Pokemon. Once the player does this, they can head over to the evolution screen and evolve it. The game will keep track of the amount of Poison-type Pokemon you capture to make it easier to know how many you need remaining. Galarian Slowking will also be joining the roster in the near future, but how players can obtain it is completely in mystery.

This event comes to a close on June 13th and the spawn rate of Galarian Slowpoke will likely drop afterward. Make sure to capitalize on this event to earn a ton of candy and participate in Mega Slowbro raids. While these Pokemon won’t be going anywhere when the event is over, they will become much harder to come by. A new event will take over and new Pokemon will begin to appear. June is one of the most stacked months of the year so don’t miss out on all these new events.
