Espeon is one of the required Pokemon to complete the Valentine Collection in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can find and capture it. The Valentine Collection event is soon coming to a close, with it ending officially on February 18th. Before then, players will need to capture a specific set of 12 Pokemon all based around love. Some of these Pokemon are original pairings, others evolve from friendship, and some are literally in the shape of hearts. Players will be rewarded with Silver Pinap Berries, Rocket Radars, and TMs for completing this challenge. Although, the true reward is the exclusive medal that comes from finishing this task in time. The medal itself doesn’t do anything but acts as a trophy for your accomplishments. Here is how players can obtain Espeon in Pokemon Go.

While many of the Pokemon in this Valentine Collection can be found in the wild, Umbreon and Espeon are only available through raid battles. Players will be able to encounter one of these Pokemon appearing in 3-star raids. These raids appear on the map as the yellow eggs. The best thing to do would be to keep an eye on these locations and use a Remote Raid Pass to participate. Although, players can physically go to these locations and use a Regular Raid Pass to do more damage in battle. Here is how players can defeat Espeon in a raid battle.

How To Find (& Catch) Espeon in Pokemon Go (Valentine Collection)

Espeon will appear in 3-star raids which aren’t too challenging, fortunately. Although, for lower-level trainers, it is best to play with at least 5 other trainers to make the battle a bit easier. If the player is at least level 30, they should be able to defeat this raid battle on their own. Espeon is a Psychic-type Pokemon, meaning that it is weak to Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type moves so make sure to bring these to the raid.

Once Espeon is defeated, players will be rewarded with a limited set of Premier Balls that they can use to capture it. To increase your chances, make sure to use a Razz Berry with every throw. Each throw should also be a curve throw to make it easier to land. Once the player has captured Espeon, it will be marked completed on the Valentine Collection. Make sure to finish this Valentine Challenge before it disappears forever.
