Shiny Dialga will make its debut on July 23rd. From this date to August 3rd, Dialga will appear in raid battles. If players are lucky enough, they will be given the chance to capture its Shiny form. How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Dialga in Pokemon Go

As mentioned, Shiny Dialga will be joining Pokemon Go beginning on July 23rd. Players will need to defeat it in a 5-star raid battle. It is recommended for players to team up with a group of at least 5 other players to make this battle much easier. Here are some Pokemon players can bring along to counter Dialga.

  • Lucario: Counter and Aura Sphere
  • Conkeldurr: Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Excadrill: Mud-Slap and Drill Run
  • Groudon: Mud Shot and Earthquake
  • Machamp: Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Landorus: Mud Shot and Earth Power

Once the battle is over, its Shiny form has the chance to make an appearance during the capturing phase. During this period, players should use a Golden Razz Berry between every throw to increase their chances of capturing it. If it’s a Shiny, it will not run away. Just make sure to not miss those Premier Ball throws during the critical moment. With a bit of time and patience, players should be able to add Shiny Dialga to their collection. Its Shiny form will remain in the game after the Ultra Unlock event is over.
