Currently, the game is celebrating its Luminous Legends X and Luminous Legends Y events centered around the legendary Pokemon of Pokemon X and Y. Not only that, but Sylveon, the Fairy-type Eevee evolution, will soon be making its debut in Pokemon Go. This has been one of the most heavily anticipated Pokemon to come to the game. Although, it’s not just Sylveon making an appearance. This guide will show players how they can obtain their own Shiny Flareon.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Shiny Flareon is already part of the game but casually come across one is pretty difficult. The Luminous Legends Y event is broken up into two different parts. The second half of the event will take place from May 25th to May 31st. This is when Sylveon will appear in the game. The game is also hosting tons of smaller Eevee-centered events in the game. For starters, Eevee will begin to spawn out in the wild more frequently. Not only that, but all of the other Eevee evolutions will begin to appear in 3-star raid battles. This guide will show players how they can obtain their own Shiny Flareon.

How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Flareon in Pokemon Go

Flareon will begin to appear in 3-star raid battles from May 25th to May 31st. This is your chance to find its Shiny form. Upon defeating it, it has the chance to appear Shiny during the capturing phase. Although it’s important to mention that finding the Shiny form is not a guarantee and is still incredibly rare. For 3-star raid battles, it’s suggested to play with at least 2 other players to make the battle easier. Flareon is a Fire-type Pokemon with tons of weaknesses. Here are some of the best Pokemon to bring along for this raid battle.

  • Rampardos: Smack Down and Rock Slide.
  • Kyorge: Waterfall and Hydro Pump.
  • Tyranitar: Smack Down and Stone Edge.
  • Rhyperior: Smack Down and Stone Edge.
  • Feraligatr: Waterfall and Hydro Cannon.
  • Omastar: Rock Throw and Rock Slide.

This event will only last for the week and is a great chance to get Shiny forms of all the Eevee evolutions. While they are still pretty rare, this is the best chance to jump on this. Make sure to stay attentive and participate in as many raids as possible.
