• Research Breakthrough: Completing seven Field Research Tasks will reward players a Chimecho encounter and a free Remote Raid Pass. Players choosing this option should make sure to complete one Field Research Task a day.
• Gym Coins: Players can spend the coins they earn from Gym Battles on Remote Raid Passes. It might be harder to earn them this way compared to spending money, but it still is technically a method of getting free Remote Raid Passes.

Niantic has replied to the outcry surrounding the feature rollback event, stating they will create a special task force for dealing with it. It’s currently unknown if they will actually do it but the community is set on protesting by boycotting Pokémon GO if needed. Remote Raids were solid features that opened up tons of accessibility options.
