Luminous Legends X is finally coming to Pokemon Go. This guide will show players the Timed Research Tasks and Rewards in the game. Pokemon Go has finally introduced the legendary from Pokemon X into the game. Beginning this May, players will be able to participate in raid battles centered around this Pokemon. Later in the month, Yveltal will join the game from Pokemon Y and will complete the title legendary Pokemon from the Kalos region. Other fan favorites such as Goomy and Spritzee will be joining the roster. As with all the other special events happening in the game, the Luminous Legends X event comes along with its own set of Timed Research Tasks. This guide will show players how to complete these tasks and earn all of the rewards.

The Luminous Legends X Timed Research Tasks will occur from May 4th at 10 am local time to May 17th at 8 pm local time. During this time, players will need to complete every stage before the event comes to an end. Once the event is over, all the goodies that come along with it will go right back into the Pokemon Go vault. This is a great way to keep players coming back for more. Here are all the Timed Research Tasks for Luminous Legends X.

Luminous Legends X Event Timed Research Tasks and Rewards in Pokemon Go

This Timed Research Task is broken up into 7 different stages. Here is what players need to do to earn all of the rewards.

  • Stage 1/7: Send 5 Gifts to Friends (Jigglypuff encounter), Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts (Bagon encounter), Catch 7 Fairy-type Pokemon (Clefairy encounter), Rewards: 1500 XP, 15 Great Balls.
  • Stage 2/7: Earn 7 hearts with your buddy (10 Razz Berries), Purify 3 Shadow Pokemon (Dratini encounter), Catch 15 Fairy-type Pokemon (Marill encounter), Rewards: 2000 XP, 1 Rocket Radar.
  • Stage 3/7: Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Arlo (5 Hyper Potions), Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff (3 Revives), Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Sierra (3 Max Potions), Rewards: 2500 XP, 1 Super Rocket Radar.
  • Stage 4/7: Find the Team Go Rocket Boss (2000 XP), Battle the Team Go Rocket Boss (2000 XP), Defeat the Team Go Rocket Boss (2000 XP), Reward: 3000 XP, 1 Incense.
  • Stage 5/7: Evolve 3 Fairy-type Pokemon (1 Sinnoh Stone), Use an Incense (Mawile encounter), Catch 20 Fairy-type Pokemon (Spritzee encounter), Rewards: 4000 XP, 10 Pinap Berries
  • Stage 6/7: Make 10 Great Throws (Swirlix encounter), Use 15 berries to help catch Pokemon (Cottonee encounter), Catch 7 different species of Fairy-type Pokemon (Azumarill encounter), Rewards: 6000 XP, 15 Ultra Balls.
  • Stage 7/7: Complete 5 Field Research Tasks (25 Poke Balls), Win 1 raid (Gible encounter), Catch 50 Fairy-type Pokemon (Clefable encounter), Rewards: 5000 Stardust, 1 Rainy Lure Module.

Make sure to complete these before the deadline. Fairy types will appear more frequently during the event. Take advantage before it’s over.
