Pokémon Legends: Arceus – At Home Under The Eaves Request Guide

For Request 85: “At Home Under The Eaves” in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the player must help an unusual wild Chimecho find a new home within Jubilife Village. The quest can be accepted by reading the blackboard in the Professor’s lab of Galaxy Hall’s Basement. After starting the Request, Trainers need to speak with Ida at her home in front of the Pokémon Pastures in Jubilife Village. She can be found sitting on her back porch during the daytime. However, players should note that they cannot find Ida during nightfall since she will naturally be asleep.

Keep in mind that Request 85 will only become available once players have fulfilled two prerequisites in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. First, Trainers must unlock Hisuain Braviary as a Pokémon Ride. The flying Mount is acquired organically during the main story mission, “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra.” After defeating Sabi in a Trainer battle, players must prove their strength to Braviary. Once the fight is over, players can summon Braviary whenever they wish. The second requirement for Request 85 is players must have the Chimecho entry in their Pokédex. Once these two prerequisites are met, players can unlock “At Home Under The Eaves.”

Players can encounter a wild Chimecho along the Celestica Trail in the Coronet Highlands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Be wary that if Chimecho spots the Trainer, it will alert other wild Pokémon in the area. If players enter a battle with Chimecho, it is crucial they understand its strengths and weaknesses. First, Chimecho can often use Recover, allowing it to replenish half of its max HP. However, using Paralyze or causing it to become Drowsy will counter this ability. Moreover, as a Psychic-type Pokémon, Chimecho is vulnerable to Bug-, Ghost-, and Dark-type Moves but will take less damage from Fighting-type moves.

After speaking with Ida to start Request 85: “At Home Under The Eaves,” Trainers must investigate four locations within Jubilife Village to check if the site is suitable to become the Chimecho’s home. Below are the four spots that players must visit:

• The house next to the Farmlands in Jubilife Village
• The lone hut at Prelude Beach
• The Training Grounds
• The house next to Ida

After the player’s investigation is complete, Ida will have one final chat with the Trainer, expressing that she decided to let the friendly Chimecho stay with her. For fulfilling Request 85, the players will receive a Rare Candy and a Sun Stone, an evolution item for evolving Petilil into Hisuian Lilligant.
