Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Best Moveset for Kleavor

Kleavor’s moveset in Pokémon Legends: Arceus will take advantage of its staggering attack stat. As a new evolution in the Scyther line, Kleavor is one of the many Pokémon to make its debut in the Hisui region. Taking place in the distant past of Sinnoh, players are thrown into this new world with a single mission, capturing all the Pokémon. While many fan-favorite like Pikachu and Starly have returned, a handful of new creatures are all directly tied to the game’s narrative. The first time trainers encounter a Kleavor is during the boss battle with the Noble Kleavor.

In order to obtain one, trainers will need to defeat the Noble Kleavor in Obsidian Fieldlands. Return to Grandtree Arena and search the nearby area to find a wild Scyther. After obtaining one, give it the Black Augurite item in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to make it evolve into Kleavor. This item can either be found through Space-Time Distortions or found on the ground by Ursaluna. It transforms the mono-Bug-type Pokémon into a Rock and Bug-type Pokémon.

Kleavor’s best attack stat in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is its Physical Attack, with this Pokémon being a Rock and Bug-type Pokémon, aiming to get an Adamant nature Scyther would work best. Natures affect how a Pokémon’s stats will grow and Adamant will increase its physical attack stat while also lowering its special attack stat. Since all of its moves will be physical attacks, this is the best nature to use without losing much.

The Best Kleavor Moveset in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

These are the best moves to use for Kleavor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

• Move 1: X-Scissor: Kleavor will receive a Same-Type-Attack-Bonus for additional damage.
• Move 2: Stone Edge: Kleavor will receive a Same-Type-Attack-Bonus for additional damage. It’s also incredibly powerful but has lower accuracy.
• Move 3: Stone Axe: Kleavor will receive a Same-Type-Attack-Bonus for additional damage. This will do spike damage every turn on the opposing Pokémon. Not as strong as Stone Edge, but still works very well.
• Move 4: Close Combat: A great way to deal with Steel-type Pokémon, one of Kleavor’s weaknesses.

Since Kleavor is pretty slow, trainers should use Agile Moves as often as possible. This allows Kleavor to go first for many turns and with its staggering attack power, it’ll likely be strong enough to take out any Pokémon. Alternatively, Strong Moves will do more damage, but if Kleavor is too slow, it leaves it wide open for an attack. It’s important to choose which option works better for the specific situation. Regardless, this moveset will bring the most power out of Kleavor.
