Pokémon Legends Arceus: Every Alolan Vulpix Location

Five Alolan Vulpix need to be found around Alabaster Icelands to complete a request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Completing request 83, “Snow-White Vulpix in the Snow,” is the only way to get an Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon: Legends Arceus. Alolan Vulpix originally comes from Pokémon Sun and Moon and is the Ice-type variation of the original Fire-type Vulpix. To complete the request, players will need to track down all the Alolan Vulpix in Avalanche Slopes.

Before the request can be started, players will need to catch at least one of the original Vulpix. To find Vuplix, players can head to Veilstone Cape in Cobalt Coastlands, which is the third region that can be unlocked in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Vulpix can be found near the edge of the water, and players can either sneak up behind it or battle it to capture it. Once Vulpix is caught, the quest for obtaining Alolan Vulpix will be available.

Request 83 is a post-game request that can be started by visiting the blackboard in Professor Laventon’s office in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The professor’s office is located inside Jubilife Village’s Galaxy Hall. After accepting the request, players will be directed to Alabaster Icelands. Keaka will be waiting in the Alabaster Icelands’ Snowfields Camp. Players can speak to him to learn that he lost five Alolan Vulpix, and he asks for help finding them.

Finding All Five Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

After interacting with Keaka, the five Alolan Vulpix will need to be found around Avalanche Slopes. Instead of catching the Vulpix, players just need to walk up to each one and interact with them, then they will head back to the Snowfields Camp in Pokémon Legends: Arceus where Keaka is waiting. The first Alolan Vulpix is located northeast of the marker for Avalanche Slopes. It’s on a cliff just above the ‘o’ on the map.

Next, players can go directly south of the Avalanche Slopes where there’s a pass between two mountains. There’s an Alolan Vulpix on each of these mountains near the edge of a cliff. Directly east of the previous Alolan Vulpix, players can find the fourth one on a tall ledge looking out. The final Alolan Vulpix is in the southernmost part of Avalanche Slopes just west of where Icebound Falls is marked on the map. This Vulpix is also near the edge of a cliff.

Players can go back to Snowfields Camp and speak to Keaka once all five Alolan Vulpix have been found. As a reward for finding them, players will get to keep one of the Alolan Vulpix as well as an Exp. Candy L. Alolan Vulpix can then be evolved into Alolan Ninetales using an Ice Stone. The evolution stone can be purchased from the Trading Post in Pokémon Legends: Arceus‘ Jubilife Village or found in a space-time distortion field. Completing request 83 is the only way to get an Alolan Vulpix in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
