Togetic is one of the rarest Pokémon ever spotted in the wild, of any game, but players can find and capture the Fairy- and Flying-type in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Unlike Togepi, Togetic isn’t a timid Pokémon that will run away as soon as it is found, but its incredibly small stature makes it difficult to spot. Togetic can be found early on in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but there are a few necessary steps that players will have to take in order to both find and catch one, as the former action can be done long before the latter.

While Togepi evolves into Togetic through an increased friendship level in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Togetic will require a Shiny Stone in order to further evolve it into Togekiss. Similar to acquiring a Dawn Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players can easily obtain a Shiny Stone by increasing their Merit Points with the Trading Post. The Shiny Stone requires players to have earned 1,200 Merit Points, but an alternative method to finding a Shiny Stone, at random, would be to use Ursaluna to dig up treasure buried underground.

As mentioned, catching a Togetic early requires a few steps before the Pokémon is even accessible. Togetic can be found in the Crimson Mirelands early in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in the Cottonsedge Prairie area, but unlike Togepi, Togetic will be flying high in the sky and far out of the range of any typical Poké Ball. Players will need to reach Star Rank Level 2 in Pokémon Legends: Arceus before they can catch Togetic, as this rank grants access to being able to craft Feather Balls. Feather Balls fly fast and true, meaning there isn’t much of a required lead before throwing one at the desired Pokémon.

Where To Find & Catch Togetic In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

To reach Togetic in the Cottonsedge Prairie, players will need to begin their journey from Mirelands Camp, head south through the Scarlet Bog, up north past the clan Diamond Settlement, around to the east side of Lake Valor, and back south to reach the area. Upon entering Cottonsedge Prairie, players will immediately find themselves atop a canyon looking down upon a plethora of wildflowers. Rather than dropping down, continue walking along on the right side of the canyon top until the end is reached. Players should find Togetic flying in a figure-eight path. Those who would like to find and catch Turtwig in Pokémon Legends: Arceus should follow this path as well after catching Togetic.

To more easily catch Togetic, aim for the small patch of snow on the mountain in the photo shown above. Togetic crosses over in its figure-eight pattern at this spot, which solely leaves the timing of throwing the Feather Ball in the hands of the player. Players should throw the Feather Ball as Togetic reaches the outside of the crosshairs, allowing the Feather Ball to reach Togetic in time. If Togetic breaks out of the ball, line the shot up again and continue throwing until Togetic is caught in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
