Medicinal Leeks are one of the many crafting materials players can find in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and this common plant is required to craft some of the most useful items players can bring on their excursions. As trainers adventure through the ancient Hisui region as part of the Survey Corps, they’ll be able to craft the items necessary to catch Pokémon and heal their team by gathering crafting materials throughout each area of the game. However, trainers will be able to obtain Medicinal Leeks from several of the NPCs in Jubilife Village as well, making these useful herbs easier to collect without having to farm them in the wild.

Medicinal Leeks can be found in every area of the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but they’re most common in the grassy plains of the Obsidian Fieldlands. Players can either collect these materials themselves or send out a Pokémon to collect them, granting it a small amount of experience and increasing the Pokémon’s friendship level. In addition, wild Buizel, Floatzel, Tangela, Psyduck, Golduck, Kirlia, Gardevoir, and Snorunt may also drop a Medicinal Leek after being captured or defeated in battle.

However, Medicinal Leeks can also be bought from the Ginkgo Guild cart in front of Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ Galaxy Hall for 120 Pokédollars each. Additionally, trainers can grow Medicinal Leeks at the Jubilife Village farm by purchasing a Medicinal Crop from Colza for 1,000 Pokédollars. This crop will yield Medicinal Leeks, but trainers will also be able to obtain other useful herbs like Pep-Up Plants, Vivichokes, and King’s Leafs from the Medicinal Crop. Crops grow as trainers catch Pokémon and complete Research Tasks on their excursions, and they’ll need to catch at least 8 Pokémon before the Medicinal Crop is ready to be harvested from the farm.

How To Use Medicinal Leeks In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Medicinal Leeks are required to craft important healing items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that trainers need to keep their Pokémon from fainting in battle. Not only are Medicinal Leeks a component used to craft Potions and Revives, but basic healing items like these can be used to craft stronger types of Potions and Revives as players unlock better crafting recipes throughout the game. For example, potions can be crafted with 1 Medicinal Leek, 1 Oran Berry, and Revives require 1 Medicinal Leek and 1 Vivichoke.

In addition to their medicinal uses, Medicinal Leeks are required to complete Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ Request 72, “Pesselle’s Easy Errand.” Unfortunately, “easy” may be a bit of a misnomer since Pesselle requires 100 Medicinal Leeks for her Request. Still, trainers can easily stock up by planting Medicinal Crops at the Jubilife Village Farm and purchasing Medicinal Leeks from the Ginkgo Cart if they don’t have enough from their excursions through Hisui. In addition, while Requests are optional in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players will receive a rare Adamant Mint and Modest Mint by completing this Request, allowing them to change the nature of one of their Pokémon strategically alter its stats.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
