A new Mystery Gift code event for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is live, and it provides the player with free items, including Rare Candy and Star Pieces. Pokémon Legends: Arceus has Mystery Gifts available, allowing players to claim the Baneful Fox Mask and the Hisuian Growlithe Kimono.

Mystery Gifts are downloadable giveaways that can be claimed during a specific period of time, or by using a code provided by The Pokémon Company. These often take the form of early adopter bonuses, with players able to claim exclusive items or Pokémon during the first few months of a game’s release. Over time, these extend to rare Pokémon giveaways and item bundles. In the early days of the Pokémon franchise, fans had to go to real-life events in order to claim a Mythical Pokémon, such as Mew or Celebi. Nowadays, Mythical Pokémon are given away through Mystery Gift events, as was the case with Zarude in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus players can now claim a bounty of free items using Mystery Gift codes. A new post on the poké_times Twitter page (via Serebii) has announced that Pokémon Legends: Arceus players can claim five Grit Pebbles, five Star Pieces, and five Rare Candies by using the Mystery Gift code “THX4Y0URHELP.” It bears mentioning that the “o” in your is actually a zero, as the password prompt in Pokémon Legends: Arceus doesn’t feature the letter and the number, in order to avoid confusion. The code is currently live and will be active until March 31, 2022.

In the recently-released Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Rare Candy is valuable, as it raises the level of any Pokemon by one. Grit Pebbles raise the effort value of a Pokémon’s stats, while Star Pieces can be sold for a lot of money at the store. In order to use this code, Pokémon Legends: Arceus players must open their bag and move to the Internet tab (denoted with the Wi-Fi symbol). The player needs to select “Mystery Gifts”,  then “Get With Code/Password,” then enter the code mentioned above.

These items are incredibly useful to have in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The Grit Pebbles and Rare Candy can quickly strengthen a Pokémon and get it up to speed for any difficult encounters. Legends: Arceus isn’t filled with difficult Trainer battles like other Pokémon games, but it does have some wild Pokémon battles that can be just as hard. More importantly, the Star Pieces can be put to good use, as Pokémon Legends: Arceus charges for inventory expansion, so having the extra cash on hand can be a lifesaver.

The Mystery Gift code for Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be available until March 31, 2022.
