Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Where To Find (& Catch) Sylveon

While trainers can evolve their Eevee into a Sylveon, there are tons of different ways to obtain one in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Making its initial debut in Pokémon X and Y as the first-ever Fairy-type Pokémon, Sylveon is the most recent Eeveelution to release. While Eevee has been in the series from the very beginning, it has continued to get new evolutions with every few new generations through X and Y. Now in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, trainers will need to capture Eevee, Sylveon, and all the other Eeveelutions in order to complete the Pokédex.

Clearing out the Pokédex not only will reward trainers with the Shiny Charm in Legends: Arceus, but it also allows them to face off against the game’s true final boss. Eevee and all eight of his evolutions can be found in the wild areas populating the Hisui region. Fortunately, Pokémon Legends: Arceus offers multiple ways to achieve the same goal. There are two different ways for players to obtain Sylveon. However, the first method will have to wait until players have defeated Kleavor in battle.

Defeating Kleavor will unlock access to Space-Time Distortions in Legends: Arceus. These are random anomalies that can appear on the map and will spawn rare items and Pokémon, including Sylveon. This Pokémon has a small chance to appear inside of these Space-Time Distortions but they are incredibly dangerous. The Pokémon on the inside will be pretty high levels so it’s important to prepare beforehand. A text notification will appear on the screen whenever a Space-Time Distortion is forming on the map. Players can head to this location in and wait until Sylveon makes an appearance. Sylveon will appear in the Space-Time Distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Evolving Eevee Into Sylveon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Alternatively, trainers can also capture an Eevee and evolve it into a Sylveon in Legends: Arceus. This method is much less luck-based as Eevee can be found in Horseshoe Plains in Obsidian Fieldlands. They are pretty rare spawns, so if they don’t appear, players can go back to Jubilife Village and return to Obsidian Fieldlands to reset the spawns. To evolve Eevee into Sylveon, Eevee will need to have max friendship in Pokémon Legends: Arceus while also knowing a Fairy-type move. Fortunately, there are tons of ways to build friendship in this game.

Of course, trainers will first need to ensure Eevee is in their party, and then send it out to collect materials from trees and ores, and heal it whenever it’s damaged. For every successful battle, Eevee’s friendship will grow stronger. Eventually, it will have the option to evolve into Sylveon in Legends: Arceus, as long as it knows a Fairy-type move. Evolutions are manual in this game, meaning the trainers will need to go into their menu and evolve Eevee into Sylveon themselves.
