During Request 73, “Which is the Real Burmy?” Pokémon Legends: Arceus Trainers are tasked with revealing to three residents of Jubilife Village which Burmy type is the “true Burmy.” This quest becomes available once players have received the Mission 12 of the main storyline, “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra.” Trainers can begin Request 73 by speaking to Leif, Duna, and Tarush on the southeastern side of Jubilife Village in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The three villagers can’t agree on which Burmy form is real and demand that the player catch and show each Burmy variant to the group. The Burmy Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus features three different variations known as Cloaks. The green Plant Cloak Burmy can be found within the Obsidian Fieldlands. The tan Sandy Cloak Burmy inhabits the Crimson Mirelands, and the pink Trash Cloak Burmy resides in the Cobalt Coastlands. The player must search each region and find their respective Burmy Cloak.

Keep in mind that all Burmy variants can potentially spawn in any region. Nonetheless, it will save the player much time if they focus their Cloak hunt within the area where a particular Burmy commonly appears. Additionally, Burmy Pokémon will change their form in Pokémon Legends: Arceus depending on the region they are currently in. For instance, if a player catches Plant Cloak Burmy and has it battle within the Crimson Mirelands, it will switch to the Sandy Cloak variation. Still, each method requires Trainers to travel to each area for the Burmy Cloak type. As a result, the players’ personal preference will determine how the Trainer will collect the three Cloaks.

Burmy Request Location Guide In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

To find the Plant Cloak, head to the Obsidian Fieldlands and look for any shaking trees. Throw a Pokémon at the tree to strike it and draw out the Burmy. A wild Pokémon other than the Burmy may also possibly appear. If this happens, try another trembling tree in the area. An ideal spot to search would be Nature’s Pantry. Next, travel to the Crimson Mirelands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to catch the Sandy Cloak Burmy. Shaking trees can often be found around the Solaceon Ruins.

Finally, capture a Trash Cloak Burmy from the Cobalt Coastlands. Return to the trio in Jubilife Village to progress the quest. However, the Request will not be completed until Burmy’s Pokédex entry has reached Level 10. Players are advised to catch several more Burmy Pokémon while out on the field to increase the Research Level. Once “Which is the Real Burmy?” is complete, Trainers will be rewarded with Exp. Candy M ×3 and a rare Leaf Stone.
