The Armorite Ore is a new item introduced in the Isle of Armor section of the DLC. The DLC is broken up into two separate parts. The first being the Isle of Armor, which released this June. The second half is scheduled to release later this Fall. New items can be found all over the Isle of Armor, hidden deep in the sea or inside bushes. Although, the Armorite Ore is a special item that allows the player to get powerful moves for their Pokemon. Here is where the player can locate Armorite Ore in Pokemon Sword & Shield.

Where To Find Armorite Ore in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Considering this is a new wild area for players to play through, players can encounter Armorite Ore on the ground. These items will shine and occasionally be Armorite Ore. Although, the player can also find Armorite Ore by playing through the Isle of Armor storyline. After catching the three speedy Slowbro, the player will be given 5 Armorite Ore. Also, around the Isle of Armor will be a family of diggers. Digging Ma will give the player Armorite Ore that they find underground. These are very special items since the player can trade these in to learn some never-before-seen moves. Head to the Dojo and speak with Honey. Each move will have an amount of Armorite Ore to learn a new move. The player must have a Pokemon that is compatible with these new moves.

The Pokemon Sword & Shield DLC completely changes the Pokemon formula. Typically, players would have to go out and purchase a definitive “third” version of the game with more content. This is the first time the series has ever released downloadable content for a mainline title. Players cannot purchase the Isle of Armor separately from the Crown Tundra. Both are part of the expansion pass and the entire pass needs to be bought to enjoy either of them. This is a much better formula for releasing new content for Pokemon fans.
