Pokémon Unite Duraludon Guide: Best Builds, Stats & Moveset

Duraludon is the newest character to join Pokémon Unite. The best build for this character will further enhance his moveset and stats. Initially making its debut in Pokémon Sword and Shield Duraludon is a Steel and Dragon-type Pokémon that can transform into a skyscraper. While its design might lead players to believe Duraludon is a Defender class character, it’s a ranged Attacker instead. This means Duraludon will be responsible for racking up the most damage and collecting the most kills, similarly to other characters like Pikachu and Charizard.

Creating the best build in Pokémon Unite will require players to unlock every Held Item and Battle Item. These can be purchased from the shop using in-game currency and provide small buffs during battle. For example, the Eject Button Battle Item allows trainers to quickly teleport away in a different direction. Since Duraludon will focus on attacking, it can be used to help it close that gap.

The best moveset for Duraludon in Pokémon Unite will be Flash Cannon and Dragon Tail. Make sure to choose these when leveling up during a match. For its battle item, trainers will want to use a Full Heal. Lastly, the Held Items should be Buddy Barrier, Scope Lens, and Muscle Bend. This build will focus on racking up damage, making it easier for other attackers to clear out foes.

The Best Duraludon Build in Pokémon Unite

• Move 1: Flash Cannon: Ruptures the ground in the designated direction, dealing damage to opponents in the area of effect and slowing them down for a short time. These cannon attacks have increased range and deal damage to all opponents hit by the light. Boosted cannon attacks deal more damage than basic cannon attacks and also decrease the movement speed of enemies for a short time.
• Move 2: Dragon Tail: Duraludon shoves an opposing Pokémon back while moving itself back a short distance as well.
• Full Heal: Removes all status conditions from your Pokémon and makes it immune to hindrances for a short time.
• Buddy Barrier: When the Pokémon uses its Unite Move, that Pokémon and the nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP are each granted a shield equal to 20% of their max HP.
• Scope Lens: Increases damage dealt by basic attack critical hits. The higher the Pokémon’s Attack, the more the damage increases.
• Muscle Band: When basic attacks hit, the damage is increased by 1%/2%/3% of the opposing Pokémon’s remaining HP.

Hitting an opponent with a Dragon Tail and immediately landing a Flash Cannon will likely kill within a single hit. Duraludon is designed to be sent out front with a strong tank and a healer. Combining its powers with other Pokémon like Snorlax and Eldegoss will make Duraludon nearly impossible to kill. This is especially important during those final two minutes with Zapdos. Overall, just try out this build to get a little comfortable with it as it is a competitive game so there is no definitive way to improve without practice.
