In the second episode of Jay Leno’s Garage season 7, appropriately titled “Fast Living,” Jay welcomes the chart-topping rapper, singer, and songwriter Post Malone. Born Austin Richard Post before taking on his professional moniker, Post Malone is known for seamlessly blending hip-hop, R&B, and pop and generating billions of streams when he does it. The question now becomes whether he will just as seamlessly combine the thrills of the road with the quips Jay throws his way.

Screen Rant is overjoyed to present an exclusive clip from “Fast Living,” this week’s episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. In it, the good-natured artist Post Malone admits that he doesn’t know much about cars being driving fast or slow. However, when Jay reveals that he writes comedy routines in the car because it serves as a good echo chamber, Post Malone agrees that a car is a great option for him to work on lyrics. His other two locations of choice? The shower and the can. Watch the full clip here:

Post Malone considers himself a shy guy, and both the comedian and the artist agree that it’s best to handle their creative process alone at first. Being on the road means they won’t be disturbed until Jay has heard how his new joke lands or Post Malone has heard how his new lyric sounds, which means their fans will eventually receive the best possible version of their work.
