Pretty Little Liars: 10 Episodes To Re-Watch If You Miss Hanna and Caleb

Pretty Little Liars might have been a mystery about all the scandalous things that happened in Rosewood, but a fan-favorite part of the show was certainly the romance. And of the main couples (and there were quite a few notable ones), Hanna and Caleb stick out for their endurance, chemistry, and special connection. Through the show’s 7 seasons the two were off and on quite a bit, but thankfully had a very happy ending that pleased many fans of the two.

The episodes that centered on Hanna and Caleb were always entertaining and satisfying and the two often stole the show even when they weren’t the main focus. There are a lot of notable episodes featuring the duo but these stick out as the most important episodes that tell the love story of Hanna and Caleb.

10 A Person Of Interest – Season 1, Episode 19

In this episode, Hanna gets a little bit of a breather away from all the A drama when she spends the night in a tent with Caleb. Part act of rebellion in response to her mom kicking him out and part desire to make sure he’s safe, she roughs it in the woods with him, and the two realize even though they both share a very different definition of camping, they still have a lot in common. One thing leads to another and before the end of the night Hanna had her first sexual experience with Caleb in this momentous episode.

9 Blind DAtes – Season 2, Episode 4

Hanna is roped into going on a double date with Lucas, his crush Danielle, and Caleb in this episode. Thanks to Caleb’s association with Jenna, Hanna had trouble trusting him so they broke it off the episode after having sex.  Hanna is still pretty hurt about it so she is not thrilled at the prospect of playing hostess with him.

But Lucas guilts her into doing it and she reluctantly agrees to participate in the night she already deems doomed. Caleb uses it as an opportunity to try to win her back but Hanna is too busy trying to convince Danielle that she and Lucas are not a thing, which leads to Hanna letting Caleb put his arm around her. By the end of the night, Hanna reconsiders her feelings for Caleb and they get back together shortly after.

8 Save the DAte – Season 2, Episode 8

Afraid Caleb is being tailed by the cops for his not-so-legal side hustle, Hanna whisks him away to Spencers cabin, all while dressed like a heroine in a 1930’s film. It’s a sweet gesture she makes even if it ends up not being necessary. The two kill time at the cabin in the ways two teenagers alone in a cabin usually would and then she deems the whole “crisis” averted after she boldly tells off Caleb’s stalker (who turns out to be his father), showing viewers how protective she is of the man she loves.

7 UnmAsked-Season 2, Episode 25

Season 2 featured a lot of great moments between Hanna and Caleb but of the essential Haleb episodes, this one features many sweet moments between the two that are hard to forget.  Caleb surprises Hanna at the masquerade ball after she had resigned herself to the fact that she would be attending it with Emily. But he shows up and saves her from going stag and the two are a striking picture in their outfits. The two get a few dances in before the drama of the night unfolds and Hanna’s world is devastated as she learns the truth about Mona. But Thankfully she has Caleb there to lean on during the upsetting revelation.

6 The KAhn Game – Season 3, Episode 9

After breaking up due to trust issues, mainly due to Hanna keeping A’s return a secret, the two finally reunite in this episode, thanks to Caleb’s crafty thinking. He catches on to the fact that the girls are being stalked again and comes up with a plan to get Hanna to confide in him.

The tech wizard disguises his number and texts her pretending to be A, threatening to hurt Caleb if she doesn’t meet. When  Hanna immediately obeys his suspicions are confirmed.  After he confronts her and makes her realize he’s not going anywhere, the two share a steamy kiss and become Haleb once again.

5 This Is A Dark Ride – Season 3, Episode 13

This season 3 Halloween episode saw everyone getting ready for the costume party the town was having on a moving train – a great setting for A to mess with the girls. But this episode also features a lot of great Haleb moments. The two have had to hide their relationship from A in order to protect Caleb, which leads to a lot of sneaking around and impromptu makeout sessions in hidden places. On the train, Caleb cleverly dressed as the Phantom of the Opera, uses his disguise to sneak a few kisses from Hanna. It’s a great Haleb episode that shows off the couple’s fun side.

4 How The A Stole Christmas – Season 5, Episode 13

This is a sweet fluff-filled episode that features plenty of Haleb moments. With all the parents stranded elsewhere, the teens are all forced to celebrate Christmas without their families, making the most of it by celebrating it together. The episode features an adorably dressed Hanna and Caleb volunteering as Santa’s helpers, everyone attending yet another dance, and a fan-favorite moment featuring Caleb and the other partners of the liars lined up on the stairs in their skivvies and Santa hats.

3 Hush, Hush, Sweet LiArs – Season 6, Episode 20

This is not a good episode for fans of Spencer and Caleb. Even though Spencer and Caleb are together in this episode it still made it on this list because it not only answers some questions about what happened between the two in the time jump, it also features the two sharing a forbidden kiss, giving hope to fans who were waiting for their reunion.

Flashbacks revealed that it was Hanna’s busy lifestyle that led to the two splitting up but one particular flashback proved that Hanna never gave up on him when she changes her mind about choosing a job over him and runs back to him, but he was sadly already gone. Spencer and Caleb were cute but they held no candle to Hanna and Caleb and this episode solidified that when Caleb kissed her and worried about her safety as she sacrificed herself to A.

2 Driving Miss CrAzy- Season 7, Episode 17

After Caleb’s unofficial proposal in the previous episode, Caleb asks Hanna to marry him for real with her mother present. The two celebrate together by recreating their time from ‘A Person of Interest’ by spending the night together in a tent and toasting the occasion with champagne and cigars.

After Caleb reassures her that it was a real proposal and not just a ruse to distract her mother from their A plan, the two share a sweet moment where they use the cigar bands as rings and act as if they are already married. It’s the perfect bookend to their story and the episode is a must – see for the Haleb fans out there.

1 Choose or Lose- Season 7, Episode 18

Leave it to these two to sneak off and get married while everyone else is too busy hooking up. In this finale episode, the two and Ashley go to the courthouse and finally tie the knot, causing all the fans who rooted for them from the beginning to rejoice and cheer. Pretty Little Liars had a lot of strong couples but Caleb and Hanna made quite the impression in fans’ hearts and no couple had people rooting for them more than this one. It would have been nice for them to have a big wedding like Aria and Ezra did but this ending was still perfect for the two because they had waited long enough to make it official and couldn’t wait for a second longer.
