This time around the Fab Five are in “The city of brotherly love” AKA Philidelphia, Pennsylvania. The show follows the life makeovers of 10 people, and at the crux of it all, looks at some important societal issues which many deal with from racism to homophobia, depression, and social anxiety. Be prepared, though, because we can almost guarantee that Queer Eye season 5 is set to be as emotional as ever with the Fab Five turning around another 10 heroes’ lives. Their love of everything they do is infectious from Tan’s wardrobe reinventions to Antoni’s drool-worthy homemade dishes. And speaking of food, this time around the Fab Five are taking Philly by storm so we could expect a cheesesteak or two on the menu.

As well as changing the lives of the individuals we see on the show, Queer Eye deals with the themes of sexuality, self-image, bullying, parenting, and more in season 5 which, of course, has a wider positive effect. The season 5 preview details the importance of letting go of expectations and recognizing our own strength, so we can expect some feel-good TV on June 5, that’s for sure. Throw in with some hilarious moments from the Fab Five, including Tan pulling pranks and Jonathan, well, just being Jonathan and it’s safe to say, we’re all in for a real treat. The Netflix show is showing no signs of slowing down, either, as season 6 has also been confirmed – yaas henny!
