Queer Eye Stars Wish Jonathan Van Ness A Happy 35th Birthday On Instagram

Jonathan Van Ness, the youngest of the Queer Eye Fab 5 has turned 35, and his co-stars had the sweetest messages for him on Instagram. Jonathan has a lot to celebrate on his birthday as he’s accomplished quite a lot in 35 years. The hairdresser rose to prominence when he joined the cast of the Netflix revival of Queer Eye in 2018. While every star is loved for their unique personality and what they bring to the show, Jonathan became a fan-favorite because of his authenticity and outgoing personality. The 35-year-old has been confidently himself while in the spotlight, often wearing heels and dresses on the show and at red carpet events.

Recently, Jonathan launched a solo Netflix series called Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness based on his popular podcast of the same name. The star, who released his first book, Over the Top: My Story, in 2020, plans to release his second book, Love That Story, next month. The star also has made some famous friends along the way, including Taylor Swift, whom he met on the set of her music video for her 2019 song “You Need To Calm Down.” Jonathan starred alongside the Fab 5 in the music video and even presented the superstar with a VMA at the 2019 ceremony. Most recently, the star revealed that Taylor was the one to help him come to terms with his celebrity status.

The Fab 5 are not ones to hide their love for each other. So for Jonathan’s birthday, his Queer Eye co-stars had the sweetest messages for him. Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk and Tan France all took to Instagram to honor their friend on his 35th birthday. Antoni, who is set to star in the film Spoiler Alert, shared a series of photos with his co-star, reminding him in the caption that he is still the youngest of the bunch and reminisced about hanging out with Jonathan and his cat in his NYC studio apartment while he was still single. “You’ve now found your person, are married and have more animals than I can count,” Antoni shared as he looked back on how much his friend has grown. Bobby also shared some photos with his co-star and used his caption to reveal that Jonathan takes all opportunities to remind everyone he’s the youngest.

Queer Eye star Tan’s post featured a series of unanswered FaceTime calls he received from Jonathan, and in his caption, he hoped that everyone could find a way to celebrate his friend on his birthday. He also shared a photo of him, Antoni and Jonathan, whom he pointed out was drunk and claimed was his favorite kind of Jonathan. The last member of the Fab 5, Karamo Brown, has yet to share a birthday message for his friend but is likely still recovering from co-hosting the Live from E! red carpet show for the 2022 Oscars. The star did, however, share Bobby’s post of the two hanging out at Elton John’s Oscars viewing party.

Jonathan’s co-stars surely have a lot of love for him. He’s accomplished so much, and it’s great to see that his friends have supported him every step of the way. While Karamo hasn’t posted a tribute, he likely sent his friend a very sweet message privately as the Queer Eye stars are all very close with each other. Hopefully, Jonathan had an incredible birthday and made lots of unforgettable memories with his friends and family.
