Players who dive into both Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Extraction will receive the United Front Bundle, which allows Siege fans to unlock all 18 Operators featured in the new entry. After a pandemic-induced name change, Rainbow Six Extraction returned to the spotlight during the Ubisoft Forward presentation for E3 2021.

The showcase notably revealed Extraction’s one to three-player gameplay options, a few Operators, and the alien threat players will face starting this September. And said threat should feel familiar to anyone who remembers Siege’s limited-time Outbreak event. In 2018’s Operation Chimera expansion, players were deployed to a New Mexico town brought to its knees by a deadly parasite. Because of the infection’s continuous spread across the United States, Team Rainbow was once again charged with restoring order, which brings us to the events of Extraction. Given this connective thread, along with the return of some Siege Operators, it should come as no surprise that both Rainbow Six titles are primed to share even more content.

In a new Rainbow Six Extraction-centric video, Ubisoft unveiled details concerning the United Front Bundle that will benefit players of Rainbow Six’s 2015 installment and the upcoming title. Siege players who jump into Extraction can expect to receive the bundle in question, an approximately $40 value comprised of “two uniform sets in both games across four different Operators” – Lion and Ela in Extraction and Siege’s Smoke and Pulse. Playing both games will also allow users to unlock all 18 of Extraction’s Operators in Siege.

While the free content offerings further tie to the two games together, Patrik Méthé, Extraction’s Creative Director, previously said neither title will cannibalize the other. Each provides a different experience, meaning those who couldn’t get into Siege may find something to like about its successor. Of course, the proof will be in how the games are supported once Extraction arrives in a couple of months.

Rainbow Six Siege’s influence isn’t only on display in the latest Rainbow Six outing on consoles and PC, either. The tactical thrill of Ubisoft’s 2015 hit exists in another form, too, 6: Siege – The Board Game. Tabletop game publisher Mythic Games launched a Kickstarter for the project a few weeks ago, quickly garnering about $1.5 million of support. Now the Tom Clancy-branded board game boasts a June 2022 release window.
