Netflix’s Rebecca cast consists of multiple famous actors as well as some viewers may recognize from various shows. Rebecca is an adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s Gothic novel, which follows an unnamed woman who marries a mysterious widower, and discovers that he and his household are haunted by the memory of his dead wife, Rebecca.

The Netflix adaptation of Rebecca is directed by Ben Wheatley, best known for his psychological horror films Kill List and A Field in England. Wheatley has the challenging task of living up to Rebecca‘s most famous adaptation, directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1940 and starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.

Armie Hammer as Maxim de Winter

Armie Hammer plays the mysterious widower Maxim de Winter. Hammer’s first major role was playing the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network, and he subsequently appeared in starring roles in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Call Me By Your Name.

Kristen Scott Thomas as Mrs. Danvers
