Ross Marquand may not be a name that immediately rings a bell, but fans have seen his work far more than they realize. A skilled impressionist, he has worked in some of the entertainment industry’s most popular tv shows and movie franchises and has mastered the voices and mannerisms of Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford and Kevin Spacey. 

His talent for impressions makes Marquand a prominent voice actor with a sizable variation in roles in animated series such as American DadFamily Guy, and Amazon Prime’s Invincible. Along with his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and starring as Aaron in AMC’s hit dystopian drama The Walking Dead, Marquand has proven his skills as both a voice actor and in live-action television and film.

9 Prince Of Wales (The Last Tycoon) – 7.7

Loosely based on an unfinished novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Last Tycoon is an Amazon Studios series starring Matt Bomer, Lily Collins, and Kelsey Grammer.

It tells the story of Hollywood bigwig, Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer), and his rivalry with his elder mentor, a studio executive named Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer). Ross Marquand guest stars in two episodes of the show’s first season as the Prince of Wales.

Marquand has provided an array of voices for the unconventional comedy, including dusting off his Jeff Goldblum impression by voicing a play on Seth Brundle from The Fly, and Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park. His other characters include Lord Voldemort, Jerry Seinfeld, and Han Solo.

7 Han Solo (Phineas And Ferb) – 8.0

Disney Channel’s imaginative exploration of all of the possibilities for Summer vacation, Phineas and Ferb, officially ended its four-season journey in 2015, but not before its epic Star Wars special.

Phineas and Ferb make their way to a galaxy far far away, join the Rebels, and find their long, lost sister in this kid-friendly adventure through space. Marquand flexes his impression muscles and is incredible as the voice of Han Solo himself.

6 Various Characters (Family Guy) – 8.1

Along with his work on American Dad, Marquand has also played an assortment of characters over the years in Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy.

He has provided many celebrity voices for the show including Indiana Jones, Jesse Eisenberg, Johnny Depp, and George W. Bush. In season 17’s episode “The Griffin Winter Games,” he also voices sportscaster Bob Costas.

5 Aaron (The Walking Dead) – 8.2

One of Marquand’s most recognized roles is as the kindhearted survivor, Aaron, in AMC’s The Walking Dead. A steady and beloved member of the series since season 5, Aaron is one of the show’s few LGBTQ+ characters and is the one that originally brought Rick and his ragtag group into the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

Known for his compassionate nature, he prefers to be a peacemaker over a fighter, whether he is adopting a baby in need, or attempting to forge a friendship with one of the Whisperers.

4 Red Skull/Stonekeeper (Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame) – 8.4

Originally played by Hugo Weaving in Captain America: The First Avenger, Marquand took up the helm as Red Skull, also known as the Stonekeeper, in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

“I, too, sought the Stones… I even held one in my hand. But it cast me out, banished me here, guiding others to a treasure I cannot possess.” Trapped on Vormir for decades, Red Skull was forced to become the Stonekeeper, watching over the Soul Stone until it was won by Thanos.

3 Paul Newman (Mad Men) – 8.6

Starring Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss, Mad Men followed both the professional and extra-curricular activities of ad agency mogul, Don Draper (Jon Hamm).

Always adding to his list of on-screen impressions, Marquand had a one-episode stint on Mad Men as Paul Newman in season 6’s episode titled, “The Flood.” This episode itself scored an 8.3 on IMDb.

2 James Cameron (Blockbuster: The Story Of James Cameron) – 8.8

Blockbuster: The Story Of James Cameron weaves the tale of the life and the rise to fame of Hollywood film legend, James Cameron.

Marquand stars in the ten-part mini-series as the famed director himself, as he details Cameron’s life from dropping out of college and through his immense success in the film industry with works such as Titanic, Terminator, and the Alien franchise.

1 Aquarius/The Immortal (Invincible) – 8.8

Amazon Prime’s Invincible is no stranger to the world of The Walking Dead. Based on comics written by the creator of the dystopian zombie drama, Invincible not only has a few clever references to the show but also features quite a few cameos from cast members.

Marquand lends his voice to two, different members of the super-powered Guardians of the Globe in the first episode, “It’s About Time.” He will also add the characters “Bi-Plane” and “Kursk” to the list in the final two episodes of the season.
