It is hard to believe that Regular Show hit its final episode all the way back in 2017. It is easily one of the most popular shows of the 2010s for Cartoon Network, as it has marvelous storylines that never fail to possess raw originality. Thankfully, it also has an array of stupendous characters, which in turn, enhances the overall quality of the show itself. Each main character is extremely memorable because of their varying personalities. They each possess flaws of their own, sure, but this ultimately is what provides both them and the series with substance.

If fans were to rate them by likability, they honestly would be up for quite the task. The vast majority of the main characters are easy to like, but there are some that definitely aren’t the best. However, it is impossible not to root for them all, as the park workers are a collected unit. At the end of the day, though, they all are extremely important to the series.

10 Mr. Maellard

Mr. Maellard is a character who is rather difficult to like. In fact, at times, he serves as an antagonist of the series. He primarily yells at Benson, while also looking for excuses to fire him.

He also is not a very active father in Pops’ life, as he often is far more focused on his business ventures. Thus, his level of greed is certainly high, so it is challenging to find a charming trait about him.

9 Muscle Man

From a comedic standpoint, Muscle Man is nothing short of elite. His constant “my mom” jokes are an iconic part of the series, which meshes well with his off-the-wall personality. Yet, as a character, he often is disliked by the others around him.

He can be far too intense, while also being far too inappropriate. Even if he does not necessarily mean to upset others, he often does because he crosses the line far too much when he tries to get laughs. This, in turn, can make him obnoxious, which does hurt his likability significantly.

8 Benson

Benson does care about his employees, there is no denying that. However, he expects them to work very hard, which contrasts with Rigby and Mordecai’s personalities. This is where Benson’s primary flaw presents itself, as he handles this situation with immense rage.

Benson has serious anger problems, which can make him a bit unsettling at times. However, it is also hard not to feel bad for his character, as he experiences a lot of heartbreak and poor treatment from Mr. Maellard. However, he does conduct himself in a cold and mean manner at times, so this cannot be ignored.

7 Margaret

During the beginning portions of the series, Mordecai is completely infatuated with Margaret. It is refreshing when the two date, as it does seem that they are compatible. Yet, she then quickly leaves him, as she elects to pursue her education and ultimate dream job.

Although this is heartbreaking for Mordecai, it is not out of ill-intent. In fact, the vast majority of the time, Margaret is especially friendly and kind to others around her. Yet, it can be hard for some fans to forgive her for leaving Mordecai, as many thought they could have been endgame.

6 Hi Five Ghost

Hi Five Ghost is Muscleman’s best friend, so he sometimes will joke about Mordecai and Rigby with him. However, when he is alone, he is far more rational and even reserved. This is where the audience sees that he is actually a far nicer character.

Interestingly, he never will make fun of others around him when Muscle Man is not around. In fact, he never seems to do things maliciously while with him either. He is a character who simply enjoys having fun, but also expresses deep empathy in the process.

5 Rigby

At the beginning of the series, Rigby is hilarious, but has some unlikable character traits. He is prone to whining, especially when it comes to losing in video games and doing work tasks. He also becomes jealous easily when Mordecai spends time with others.

However, Rigby does mature immensely as the series progresses. He may remain lazy, sure, but he learns how to care for her others more significantly once he starts dating Eileen. Overall, he is a very loyal friend who simply has some shortcomings that he eventually overcomes.

4 Eileen

Eileen is a character that is massively important for the series, as she is the primary catalyst behind Rigby’s growth. Although she is a bit obscure in personality, she is immensely sweet and caring to the people around her.

She is also very intelligent, but does not put down others if they aren’t. It is hard to find a single instance where she is mean or cold to others. She simply is a little awkward, but that is easy to look past when observing all of her positive characteristics.

3 Mordecai

Mordecai is certainly a cool character, which makes him a good choice of a protagonist. He does have some shortcomings, and this is especially the case when it comes to his dating life. The perfect example of this is when he interrupts Muscle Man’s wedding ceremony with a speech touching upon his own love life.

Alas, Mordecai makes up for this bad personality trait by being very empathetic and caring towards others around him. Furthermore, he also knows how to have fun, as evidenced by his countless adventures with Rigby and company.

2 Skips

Skips is an immensely wise soul, as he is immortal and has been alive for many generations. He is essentially the protector of the group, and he constantly risks his safety for others. He also provides a lot of emotional support for those who are in need.

He is a character with a heart of gold, too, as he refuses to never skip to pay homage to his deceased former girlfriend. It also is impossible not to feel bad for him, because he will forever outlive any of the friends he makes.

1 Pops

Pops is the most likable character in Regular Show. He is a naïve man who loves lollipops and has a heart of gold. He does not like conflict and even threatens to fire Benson because of how often he yells. Thus, he is an individual who strives for peace amongst all.

However, what ultimately makes him the best in this aspect is that he literally sacrifices himself to save the rest of the group. What is even more heartwarming about this scene is that he does it by hugging his brother, Anti-Pops, into the sun. Anti-Pops is the evilest character in this universe, yet is able to recognize his faults during this scene because of Pop’s pure heart.
