Nicolas Cage enthusiasts can now own a replica of his face from the movie Mandy for the hefty price of $2,000. The eccentric actor has been featured in numerous hit films over the decades, including blockbusters like Con Air, National Treasure, and Face/Off. Cage’s talent has spanned almost every cinematic genre throughout his career, including horror.

In 2018, Cage starred in Mandy, a psychedelic horror flick. The movie first debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and was later released to select theaters around the US. Cage plays a man named Red Miller who is forced to witness the horrific murder of his wife by a cult called Children of the New Dawn and a biker gang known as the Black Skulls. In retaliation, Red takes up his crossbow and forges an ax known as the Beast to eliminate those involved with his wife’s murder. Several bloody battles ensue before he is able to quench his thirst for revenge by violently eliminating the killers.

The film was generally well received and went on to win several awards. Cage has become a bit of a pop culture sensation in recent years with his face appearing on shirts, coloring books, and even pillows. Now, thanks to company Legion M Shop, Cage and Mandy fanatics can add some new merchandise to their collection. The shop recently released a $2,000 replica mask from the film. Look at the pictures below to see more details about the pricy product.

“These masks are hand-crafted by FX artist Rubber Larry, known for creating ultra-realistic stunt masks for the studios’ stunt doubles. Each mask is individually hand made by Larry, starting with an uncanny sculpture of Nicolas Cage from countless photos and references from the film. Cast in the highest-grade latex rubber, these thick but soft and comfortable masks are inspected, trimmed, then are primed, painted, and sealed in silicone rubber for realism, durability, and longevity.”

The replica of Cage’s battle-worn face includes hair that has been individually placed by the creator and cut to resemble the actor’s appearance in the film. The blood stains and facial expressions mirror the images from Mandy. It is also accompanied with a customized stand for when the mask is not in use. The unique stand features the characters name and some of his weapons of choice engraved on the sides. Buyers will have to act fast since only 30 masks were crafted by the special effects artist.

The good news is that it has been released just in time for Halloween and would easily make the wearer the talk of the party. The craftsmanship of the latex mask is exceptionally detailed to a point that would make Michael Myers jealous. Unfortunately, the quality also comes with an exceptional price tag. Only those with deep pockets will be able to appear as the iconic actor, everyone else will have to resort to living vicariously through Cage when rewatching Mandy at home.
