Drew Sidora from The Real Housewives of Atlanta has a uterine condition that has impacted her appearance. Her condition came to light after fellow castmate Kenya Moore made an insensitive remark about Drew’s body. This happened following last Sunday’s new episode. Drew and Kenya have had tension since the beginning of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13, and their problems intensified after Kenya and the new “friend of” LaToya Ali called Drew out. LaToya felt that married woman Drew was behaving inappropriately during Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette trip.

Viewers got to know Drew as a housewife during The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13 premiere in November 2020. Right out the gate, fellow newbie LaToya Ali started tension with Drew (who’s accused her husband of spying on her). She made fun of Drew’s wig by referring to it as an animal on her head. Since LaToya and Kenya have become close, Drew has her guard up when she is around those two. Now that Kenya has attacked her appearance, Drew is starting to take Kenya’s jabs to heart.

In a recent interview with Page Six, the 35-year-old revealed that she was diagnosed with the health condition adenomyosis last year. It is possible that she will need a hysterectomy. Adenomyosis is a uterine condition that occurs when the tissue that lines the uterus grows into its walls. “What I’m dealing with as a woman, as a mother … this is serious for me,” revealed the mom of three. The actress had to defend her appearance after Kenya tweeted a photo of Drew from Sunday night’s episode of RHOA, alongside a caption. This caption said that Drew “needs to pay for a tummy tuck.” The snide comment came after Drew made a comment to Kenya (whose ex-husband is working on a reality show) about her refusal to participate in the “booty bounce” contest. “What’s the problem? Girl, you paid for that booty, bounce it,” Drew stated in a confessional.

However, Drew stands by her comments about Kenya’s fake behind. “It’s one thing to talk about what we go through as woman versus someone who’s unnatural and gets butt shots,” she said. Besides her health condition, Drew admitted to gaining a bit of weight during the quarantine, revealing that it was tough after she received three Achilles tendon surgeries. “It wasn’t a good day for me,” she added. As for whether or not she will follow through with the hysterectomy, Drew is getting a second opinion from Dr. Jackie Walters from Married to Medicine. She wants to make sure she is doing the right thing before deciding to follow through with the surgery.

Adenomyosis can be very painful and can cause serious cramping in the stomach area. Drew’s health condition could become very dangerous if it is not dealt with appropriately. For Kenya to comment on Drew’s body (Drew claims Nicki Minaj did the same thing) while she has been living with this condition is mean and uncalled for. Hopefully, now that Kenya knows of Drew’s struggles with adenomyosis, she will have a little more compassion.
