RHOA: Porsha Williams Gets Emotional Giving Simon An Engagement Ring

Porsha Williams became emotional while giving Simon Guobadia an engagement ring four months after he proposed to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star. Porsha shed tears while gifting her fiancé an engagement ring of his own. It was on Mother’s Day when Simon surprised Porsha and popped the big question one month after they started dating. Despite all the criticism surrounding their relationship, Porsha and Simon appear to still be going strong.

Amid reports surrounding Porsha’s return to RHOA, the Bravo star is gearing up for a book release and a spin-off special. Porsha is set to open up about her family life and career in an intimate portrayal where she won’t have to share the spotlight. But it’s said that Porsha might be ready to exit the franchise that made her a household name. Insiders say fans think Porsha is possibly reluctant to return to avoid having the ladies come after her controversial romance. Simon appeared on RHOA last season as the husband of his now ex-wife Falynn Pina. Now as her casting remains in limbo, Porsha is focusing on her love at home.

Porsha kicked off the week by visiting Tiffany and Co. and purchasing a diamond engagement ring for her fiancé Simon. “Crazy IN LOVE PART / 2 Taken 4 real,” Porsha captioned an emotional video of the special occasion. Her best friend and matchmaker Shamea Morton was there to film and congratulate Porsha on the big leap. “I said yes and so did he,” Porsha continued. Her ring to Simon comes four months after he proposed to Porsha so soon after his divorce and after he started dating the Bravo star.

But despite how fast they’re moving, Porsha says what she has with Simon is the real deal. “Yes we both are professing our love and reminded every time we look down at our left hand that this is a promise and love that will last a lifetime,” Porsha added. “We will be husband and wife and I can’t freaking wait! Love you Pooh!!” Porsha and Simon have been on a whirlwind romance since they started dating. When announcing their relationship, Porsha claimed she and Falynn were never friends despite the show claiming otherwise. There are even photos of Falynn hanging out with Porsha and Shamea while she was still married to Simon. But Porsha has since credited Shamea for playing matchmaker in hooking her up with Simon.

The seemingly move of betrayal has put Porsha under fire since the relationship was announced. It’s also possibly resulting in her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Sheree Whitfield have been confirmed to return, Porsha’s name has yet to be added to the list. Good thing Simon is a wealthy businessman because Porsha might need a little cushion to fall on after dropping all of her television gigs. If she does choose to leave, the door will always be wide open for the show star to return. She has more than enough unfinished business among the cast and with show OG Sheree making her comeback, fans will be eager to see the two engage in a shade-throwing session.
