Viewers have seen a lot of conflict between Kyle Richards and her sister Kim over the seasons, and everyone was excited to see what Kathy would say and do when she became part of the cast.

10 When Kathy Asked, “Who Is Hunky Dory?”

In the season 11 episode “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Leather Pants,” everyone went to Lisa Rinna’s house for pasta that Harry Hamlin made. The drama revolved around Sutton Stracke, who was uncomfortable being there with Crystal Kung-Minkoff since Sutton opened Crystal’s bedroom door in Lake Tahoe and Crystal said she was “violated.”

While this was a situation that felt very serious for Sutton and Crystal, Kathy unintentionally created a humorous moment. When Sutton said, “It’s hard for me to sit there and pretend everything is hunky-dory when it’s not,” Kathy asked, “Who is Hunky Dory?” Kathy’s co-stars were confused as to why she didn’t know the expression and it made everyone smile.

9 When Kathy Slept In Kyle’s Bed

There is a ton of fun facts about the Richards sisters on RHOBH, and it’s a lot of fun seeing Kathy and Kyle in action. When the cast went to Lake Tahoe at the start of season 11, Kathy showed her sister that she doesn’t fall asleep easily and needs a lot of stuff before she can go to bed.

When Kathy had six newspapers, potato chips, and Red Bull in the bed while Kyle tried to sleep beside her, it just might have been the funniest moment out of the entire season — or all of RHOBH history. When people think of RHOBH, they definitely think of it as a drama more than a comedy, but Kathy has been so enjoyable to watch.

8 When Sutton Shared That Kathy Knocked On Her Bedroom Door

Sutton has had conflict with Crystal and Erika in season 11, but she was able to see some levity and humor in Kathy’s behavior, too. One morning during the Lake Tahoe trip, Sutton said, “Kathy came into my room last night with her fan and like 8 pillows.”

This was a great scene as it allowed fans to see how affectionate and caring the cast is towards Kathy. Crystal has known Kathy for a long time and so it has been fun to watch the two new housewives together, and when Sutton shared her story, she proved that she is a big Kathy fan, too. Instead of having conflict and arguing with her co-stars, Kathy has made them laugh.

7 When Kathy Called Kyle “Doogie”

Some of Kyle’s best quotes on RHOBH have seen her defending her sister Kim and it has been fascinating watching her with Kathy as well. Kathy made her producers, co-stars, and viewers giggle when she kept calling Kyle “Doogie.”

When a producer asked Kathy during a confessional what that meant, she shrugged, explaining that it was the nickname that she had given her sister since childhood. Since Kyle once shared that she and Kathy fought over Kyle’s TV show American Woman, which was inspired by their mom and time growing up, it has been heartwarming seeing these siblings in a much better place.

6 When Kathy FaceTimed Her Daughter In A Silly Outfit

While the cast was staying at Kyle’s beautiful house in La Quinta, they decided to go shopping, and Kathy wore a big pink jacket and goofy white hat and FaceTimed her daughter Nicky.

In what is one of her most hilarious RHOBH scenes, Kathy totally and completely enjoyed herself, knowing that her daughter didn’t find her stylish at all. Kathy has helped bring joy to what has been an incredibly dark and heavy season full of Erika’s legal problems and the pain that she feels over losing Tom.

5 When Kathy Didn’t Play Two Truths And A Lie Properly

Fans know and love RHOBH’s dramatic storylines, and sometimes tension ensues from an innocent game night. In one season 11 scene, the cast played “Two Truths And A Lie,” hoping to get some juicy dirt on each other and have some fun. When it was Kathy’s turn, she didn’t play the game properly and said three things that were actually true.

Fans were relieved that this game didn’t turn into a massive fight like it could have, and it’s all thanks to Kathy. She got rid of any tension in the room and made the energy light-hearted and peaceful.

4 When Kathy Played The Martini Prank

In the season 11 episode “Sutton’s Gotta Give,” the cast went out to dinner, and Kathy played a prank on everyone. She asked for water in martini glasses and told some of her co-stars to drink them as if they were downing shots quickly.

While Sutton didn’t laugh at all, as she didn’t like being out of the loop, fans appreciated this prank and loved learning more about Kathy. She has been open about enjoying playing pranks on people and viewers are eager to see if there will be more to come before season 11 wraps up.

3 When Kathy Said She Doesn’t Know Erika

The cast of RHOBH has been discussing Erika’s divorce both with Erika and in scenes without her. When Erika got upset and left Kyle’s La Quinta house early, her co-stars talked about how long they had known her. When Dorit Kemsley said she had been friends with Erika for a few years, Kathy said, “I don’t know her.”

While Kathy wasn’t trying to be funny, and it was definitely a heavy moment, her delivery did bring some levity into the room. Kathy often delivers lines in a brash manner without meaning to, as she just wants to get her point across.

When Kathy got to Kyle’s house for a holiday dinner, she said that she was stressed and said, “I’m literally ready to have a gorilla.” Garcelle Beauvais wasn’t sure what that meant and when a producer asked Kathy to explain, she said, “You know, I’m being dramatic. Like, ‘I’m gonna have a horse. I’m gonna have a gorilla. I’m gonna have a barrel of chickens, whatever.'”

The trip to Kyle’s La Quinta home was mostly peaceful, besides the tough time that Erika has been having, and Kyle cooked a nice dinner one evening. Before the meal, Kathy took some week-old bread and began tearing it into chunks.

When Kyle told her sister that she couldn’t serve that bread, since it was literally rock hard, the sisters burst into laughter and so did viewers. This was not only a funny scene but it was heartwarming to see the sisters teaming up to serve dinner to their group of friends. It felt like any conflict had been firmly left in the past.
