RHOBH: Erika Jayne Not Fired, Coming Back Next Season

Despite the recent speculation, Erika Jayne has not been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The singer and reality star has reportedly been tapped to return next season.

Over the weekend,  the rumor mill was spinning over reports Jayne had been demoted to a friend role on RHOBH. Reports claimed Jayne was offended by the offer and was considering leaving the franchise entirely. She followed up the rumors by removing her diamond from her Instagram bio, which got her fans talking. The XXXPen$ive singer has been among the standouts on the show since her first appearance in season six. Not one to hold her tongue, Jayne is often involved in the various spats among the housewives. In addition to living a superstar life of luxury with her attorney husband Thomas Girardi, Jayne is more than able to keep up with the other ladies in the 90210.

However, the talk about Jayne’s return next season is apparently all hearsay. A source close to production on the show claims Jayne will be returning full-time next season. “Erika Jayne has not been fired and filming resumes this week,” an insider told All About The Tea. The source went on to confirm which of the housewives will return for season 11. “Erika will return as a full-time Housewife, along with Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dorit Kemsley,” the insider added. According to the outlet, filming for season 11 will begin next week.

There has been speculation on whether or not any other housewives would be given the boot after producers opted to ax Teddi Mellencamp last month. Prior to Mellencamp’s termination, housewife Denise Richards quit following the scandalous allegations Brandi Glanville unearthed last season. Meanwhile, Glanville recently took to her podcast with her two sons and begged executive producer Andy Cohen for her diamond back. Glanville has been a friend of the housewives for the past few seasons, despite being at the center of the drama on the show’s main storylines.

It was recently revealed Kathy Hilton has been tapped for a friend role in season 11. She will join her OG castmember sister Kyle Richards on the show after making brief cameos over the years. There continues to be talk of actress Ali Landry joining the show. She has confirmed that she is in talks with producers, but hasn’t landed on a definite role in the series. Cohen also recently shut down talk claiming Caitlyn Jenner would be joining the housewives.
