It seems as though The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna is under fire for a photo she posted to her Instagram account. Rinna is known for staying in the spotlight when it comes to doing and saying controversial things. For this reason, it’s no surprise she has, once again, started drama.

Rinna is infamous for stirring the pot throughout the years on RHOBH. She got into it with former cast member Kim Richards when she was caught on camera addressing concerns she thinks Kim is dying due to her alcoholism. This led the two castmates down a drama-filled path that really never ended. Rinna also recently had issues with former cast member Denise Richards on season 10. Denise Richards and Rinna were long-time friends, but when Rinna felt like Richards wasn’t honest with the cameras while filming, she relentlessly and ruthlessly went after her, which ended with Richards quitting the show.

All of this drama leads up to Rinna and the controversial photo she posted on her social media account. On Instagram (via The U.S. Sun), Rinna posted a text photo with a somewhat surprising statement about drinking. She captioned the photo with, “That will be $500.” While Rinna obviously posted this to be funny, many took offense to the photo, claiming it promotes alcoholism and that it was ignorant on Rinna’s behalf.

This post is not shocking to true fans of the show who know Rinna has a reputation for speaking before she thinks. In fact, this isn’t even the first time the RHOBH star has gotten slammed for posting something on Instagram related to alcohol. Not long ago, Rinna shared a quote that said, “Surround yourself with people who have issues. Because people who have issues always have alcohol.” Many followers were, again, outraged by this, letting her know it’s not a laughing matter to the many people who are dealing with alcohol dependency after the pandemic. Others questioned if she was openly supporting alcoholism.

It seems like Rinna can’t stay out of the spotlight, but she appears to like it that way. She has already started out the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with drama with fellow cast member Garcelle Beauvais, who claims not to trust Rinna after what she watched her do to Denise Richards last season. While not all fans of the show love Rinna, it’s true that most fans do love to hate her. It will be interesting to see what drama she finds herself in during season 11.
