RHOBH: Paul P.K. Kemsley Arrested On DUI Charges

Paul “P.K.” Kemsley arrested on DUI charges after the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was pulled over in Los Angeles following a business dinner. P.K. and his wife Dorit have been on the show for around five years, after joining they joined in season 7. The couple was brought in as friends of Lisa Vanderpump, and Dorit instantly became known for her over the top fashion. During season 11, P.K. was praised by fans for being one of the only ones who was able to see through Erika Jayne’s lies and say what the audience was thinking. Dorit on the other hand, received less praise for her lack of a storyline and her unnecessary attacks on fan favorite Garcelle Beauvais by calling her a bully and yelling at her during the reunion.

Most recently, the couple made news when their house was broken into while everyone was asleep, and Dorit was held at gunpoint. Three men broke into the couple’s Encino home by breaking a window on the first floor. Two of the three men entered Dorit’s bedroom and she woke up to find them standing at the foot of her bed, pointing a gun at her. The men reportedly grabbed her and got her out of bed, all while threatening to kill her. Sources said Dorit was pleading with the men not to hurt her or her children. Dorit and her children were home alone at the time, as P.K. was in London.

P.K. was now arrested in Los Angeles on DUI charges. As reported by The Daily Mail, P.K. was pulled over and arrested on DUI charges after having a few drinks while out with a colleague. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 23 just off of Laurel Canyon when exiting from the 101 freeway. During the initial breathalyzer test, P.K. blew a .081, with the legal limit in California being 0.8. He was arrested on the spot and taken to the police station in Van Nuys where he took another breathalyzer, this time blowing a 0.73. After the second breathalyzer, P.K. was held at the police station for about an hour, until California Highway Patrol officers drove him home. He was met at his house by Los Angeles Police Officer who have been guarding his house since the break in in October. Neither Dorit, or their two children were with P.K. at the time of his arrest.

P.K.’s attorney, Alan Jackson, made a statement to Page Six admits to the fact that he was arrested for a DUI after having a glass of wine with his dinner. He further explained that P.K. is deeply regretful for his choices that evening, and wishes he had chosen a less dangerous way of getting home. His attorney assured fans that P.K. is taking the repercussions of his actions very seriously, and fully cooperated with police officers that night. He ended the statement by claiming this is the first time P.K. has been pulled over for something like this since getting his license, and is committed to never making a similar mistake again.

Dorit and P.K. have had a bad couple of months, and all while cameras were rolling for season 12. It will be interesting to see how the couple is dealing with the aftermath of everything they have been through when the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills begins airing. This could potentially be the storyline Dorit needed to get fans to be more sympathetic towards her, after she put her foot in her mouth a few times this past season regarding Erika and racial issues with Garcelle.
