RHOBH: Show Has To ‘Clean House’ For Lisa Vanderpump To Return

Lisa Vanderpump says she’s open to returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills if production ‘cleaned house‘ within the cast. The OG housewife recently dished on the show and whether or not she would ever return to her housewife role. After leaving two seasons ago, Lisa says a lot needs to change before fans see her face again. With all the enemies she left with, there are a number of current cast members who would have to go before Lisa would feel comfortable enough to come back.

Lisa left after RHOBH season 9 after starring on the show for years. She was a reigning OG alongside Kyle Richards. But the two longtime friends had a horrible fall out, which ultimately resulted in Lisa jumping ship. She had already been starring in her hit spin-off Vanderpump Rules and no longer benefited from her Housewives role. It became more of a hassle to film with the ladies she was no longer friends with. Since her departure, the show has seen some new faces. But there’s always room for a legendary OG to return.

The Bravo star was recently asked if she would ever consider returning to the show, and Lisa wasn’t so sure. “With this cast? No, it’d be impossible,” Lisa told ET. She teased what would need to happen in order for her to return. “Unless they kind of cleaned house, then maybe,” Lisa added before shouting the current cast members she would be open to working with. “I hear Garcelle [Beauvais] is very nice, and Sutton [Stracke], I hear is doing a good job,” Lisa jokingly noted, adding, “It’d be great. Just be Sutton, Garcelle, and me, right?”

Her kind stance towards Garcelle Beauvais comes one month after she embraced the idea of Lisa returning to the show. “I know the fans would love to see Lisa,” Garcelle told the Daily Mail. “I don’t know her but I think she’d bring the show some new energy.” Lisa expressed her approval for Garcelle’s compliment. “Well, I think that’s a compliment,” Lisa said. “From what I hear, she’s a lovely woman … That’s very sweet that she would say that.” Lisa and Garcelle never got the privilege to film together. Lisa had already left the show by the time Garcelle joined in season 10.

Earlier this year, Lisa teased she would rejoin the show if all her ex-friends got axed. Her former friends being Kyle, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Teddi Mellencamp. She was at odds with all of the ladies during her last season when she was accused of selling a story about a dog. The drama was all too much for Lisa, who had grown tired of squabbling with her co-stars. Over her nine-season run, Lisa became somewhat of a villain since she had no more allies. With Brandi Glanville gone, there was no one to stick up for Lisa. Her absence from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been felt. But it looks like Lisa won’t be returning anytime soon.
