RHOC: How Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi Checked Kelly Dodd’s Privilege

Kelly Dodd is under fire after getting axed from The Real Housewives of Orange County last week. Amid her removal from the show, Kelly sparked up an online feud with fellow Bravo star Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi. However, it only resulted in Kelly getting her privilege checked once again.

Last season was plagued by Kelly’s controversial social media behavior and Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s unconventional marriage. By the reunion, Kelly was called out for her contentious remarks on the Coronavirus pandemic and shade towards the Black Lives Matter movement. She defended her actions by claiming to be Black and continuing to harbor disputable views on wearing face masks. Braunwyn ended the reunion in tears after Shannon Beador revealed her jaw-dropping actions involving Shannon’s teenage daughter. The drama apparently was too much for show producers, and they decided not to renew contracts for the two show stars.

With Kelly’s name being hot in the press amid her firing, one Bravo star shared her take on the topic. The Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi ignited a feud after telling her fans that she was glad Kelly was given the pink slip. Kelly fired back by claiming she did not know who GG was because she never watched her show. GG then shared an old clip of Kelly talking about wanting to be on Shahs. Kelly was forced to address the apparent hypocrisy. “I don’t know who this ghoul girl is, goulash, or whatever her name is,” Kelly said in a since-deleted Instagram video, reposted by GG.

But GG responded with a lengthy rant blasting Kelly for mocking her name. She called her out for disrespecting her culture by butchering her name on purpose. She went on to say she thought getting fired for being racist would have been enough to teach Kelly a lesson, but obviously, that was not the case due to her privilege. She then said she is so happy that Kelly was fired from her show because Bravo is obviously making efforts to put an end to racism by creating Shahs of Sunset.

She continued. “And finally, why did you post and delete this video, Ms. Dodd? Did you realize your racist side came out so naturally and that it needed to be deleted?” It’s already not looking good for Kelly amid her firing from The Real Housewives of Orange County and now this. It is possible that GG is only picking at Kelly to help reel in viewers to her show. But Kelly made the job too easy by further engaging. Amid her exit, fans are wondering what is next for Kelly. It appears that her feuding with reality stars online is helping her keep her name out there.
