After pulling her over in the middle of the night, officers from the West Memphis Police arrested Lindsey Knickerbocker, daughter to The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tammy Knickerbocker. Bravo fans haven’t seen much of Tammy on their screens since her exit from the Real Housewives franchise back in 2007. Her daughter Lindsey, on the other hand, has made headlines in the past for her unfortunate bouts with the law.

Lindsey’s run-ins with the law began back in 2013 when the then-23-year-old was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. After fleeing the scene and getting into an ugly encounter with an officer, Lindsey was sentenced to three years of probation. Fans got their first glimpses into the Knickerbocker family when Tammy first came onto RHOC as a friend of Jeana Keough in season 2.  Around the time that RHOC season 2 aired, Tammy’s ex-husband and father of her two daughters passed away. This devastating loss led her to part ways with the franchise and focus more on her company that Tammy runs with her children.

Lindsey’s February 12 arrest was first reported by local Arkansas news station KNWA and WREG recently. She was stopped by authorities at a Motel 6 for her license plate light not being on. The situation became much dire for Lindsey when officers allegedly found 0.4 grams of meth in her car. It was revealed that Lindey was also in possession of a number of substances, leading her to be booked with numerous charges. As if matters couldn’t get worse, $2,500 of counterfeit cash was also found during the search. Lindsey was charged with forgery (on top of drug charges) due to the falsified checks and printer that were also confiscated that night.

Currently, Lindsey is being held on a $25,500 bond for her charges at the Crittenden County Jail, with her court date expected to be on March 31. While he was able to find her identity through Facebook, Sherrif Mike Allen only realized Lindsey’s relation to a Bravo star when he was contacted by the press about her arrest. In a statement, he lamented about how heartbreaking the visible changes were that Lindsey went through from who she was in the social media photos he saw of her during his investigation.

Unfortunately for Lindsey, her past incident with authorities will likely be a major factor that’ll play into her fate when she goes in front of a judge in March. As Tammy has been relatively silent on social media since her departure from RHOC, it’s unlikely that fans will see any comments from her about Lindsey’s unfortunate situation. While her daughter has had her fair share of legal drama, she’s far from the only Housewives child with a criminal record. Fellow Real Housewives of Orange County star Lynn Curtin’s daughter Alexa was also arrested for alleged drug possession back in 2016, while Lauri Peterson’s son Josh received a bevy of charges, including attempted murder, hit-and-run and possession of ecstasy. The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans will certainly remember NeNe Leakes’ heartfelt scolding of her son Bryon in season 2 when he was caught allegedly shoplifting.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
