D’Andra Simmons made it clear where she stands in the drama surrounding her Real Housewives of Dallas co-stars Kameron Westcott and Tiffany Moon in her recent tweet in response to a fan. Viewers first met D’Andra when she came onto the scene in season two. She was initially introduced as LeeAnne Locken’s friend, but that relationship quickly fell apart and the two just could not find their way back to each other. Fans were happy to see her escape what seemed to them to be a toxic friendship. Since then, fans have been able to get to know what she calls the real D’Andra, one not bound by the expectations put upon her by the world of high society. She calls it like it is, and is not afraid to put herself out there, no matter what the situation may be.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

With LeeAnne gone this season, the opening in the friend group was filled by D’Andra’s good friend, Tiffany Moon. Tiffany had a hard time getting along with the women, starting off on the wrong foot with almost all of them. At the reunion, it seemed as though Tiffany had a lot to own up to, and a lot to dish out with Brandi, Kary, and most notably, Kameron. Kameron and Tiffany went back and forth for a majority of the two-part reunion and while it seemed like they patched everything up by the end of it, things got worse on Twitter once the episodes aired. Kameron and her family took to Twitter to trash Tiffany, calling her a racist and even insinuating she may sometimes go into the operating room with a hangover.

Up until recently, no cast members have spoken up about what they think regarding what went down between Tiffany, Kameron and her extended family members. Their lack of a response, however, may be more telling than any response they could have given. D’Andra finally gave her thoughts on the subject, when a fan asked her what she thought about the whole ordeal. When a fan asked her if she had anything she wants to say about the problems between Kam and Tiffany, D’Andra made it pretty clear that she stands with Tiffany. It makes sense since the two were friends prior to going on the show, and since Tiffany was the one being attacked.

While the other housewives featured on the Dallas franchise haven’t made any statements yet, Bravo put one out letting everyone know they stand with the Asian American community. While fans were happy with the quick response from the Bravo executives, they wanted more from them. Fans were quick to point out that while adding diversity to the casts of their shows is a good thing, their storylines should not only consist of educating the rest of the cast about their race and how to not be racist. They also feel more should have been done to allow Tiffany to get her side of the story out and to hold the other ladies accountable for their actions during the reunion.

With all the backlash Kameron and her family are experiencing due to them bullying Tiffany on social media, Kameron’s future on the show is in question. It is likely she won’t choose to leave the show on her own, but will Bravo do what most fans want and fire her? There are already rumors swirling that Tiffany has made the choice not to return, but Kameron’s fate is still up in the air. Some are suggesting she will not be asked to return for the next season, but it will be done quietly, unlike when Stassi and Kristen were fired from Vanderpump Rules. One thing’s for certain though, the next season of Real Housewives of Dallas is going to be interesting, with potentially two new housewives.
