RHONJ: 10 Cast Members Fans Want To See Return, According To Reddit

The cast for season 12 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been set in stone for a while now, as the premiere date is February 2022. Season 11’s cast is coming back along with newcomer Traci Johnson. But even though these episodes have already been filmed and fans are getting ready to see what new drama awaits them, everyone has thoughts on the best possible cast for a future season of this city in the popular Bravo franchise.

Before the premiere of season 12, fans have some strong opinions about which RHONJ cast members should come back to the reality series, and they’re sharing what they think on Reddit.

10 Kathy Wakile

RHONJ fans took Teresa’s side for some arguments, but it was tough to agree when she created tension and bad blood with some of her relatives, including her cousin Kathy Wakile. No one could blame Kathy for thinking it was problematic that Teresa said mean things about her family in one of her cookbooks.

One Redditor would love to see Kathy on the show and wrote, “I’d bring back Kathy. I think now that her kids are grown, she’ll be less guarded. And I want all the tea between her and Tre.”

9 Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, And Jacqueline Laurita

When thinking about the best cast members for a new season of RHONJ, some fans wish that former housewives would be hired back.

Reddit user number1angels would love to see Caroline and Dina Manzo, along with Jacqueline Laurita, in the same season. The fan wrote, “imagine the feuds” such as “caroline/jacq vs dina and tre.” It’s true that these housewives would form alliances and it would be fascinating to see what would happen.

8 Danielle Staub

When talking about a dream RHONJ cast, some fans want Danielle Staub to come back as she has been part of some of the most powerful fights on the reality show. While some viewers think that she’s too intense and that she should never return, others wish that she could become a full-time housewife again.

Reddit user Dontcallemhoney wrote, “I love Danielle” and explained that Danielle should return because “she totally deserves it because she’s iconic.”

7 Melissa Gorga

From Melissa Gorga’s best RHONJ outfits to her relationship with Joe, there are many reasons why viewers have enjoyed seeing her over the past several seasons of the reality show.

One Redditor would be happy to see Melissa return, writing, “I like Melissa so I hope she stays.” The fan would also love to see a new cast member so Melissa and her sister-in-law could experience conflict with them: “Maybe bring in someone that Teresa and Melissa can be against together – would be a nice change.

6 Jennifer Aydin And Margaret Josephs

When talking about season 12 of RHONJ, a fan started a Reddit thread talking about how the season 11 cast will return for these new episodes.

Reddit user SufficientEmployee6 said that they are happy to see Jennifer Aydin and Margaret Josephs remain: “Marge and Jennifer can stay because I feel their feud is going to grow.” It’s definitely true that these housewives haven’t ever gotten along.

5 Rosie Pierri

One Redditor would love to see another former cast member return, writing, “Bring back Rosie! She always cracked me up.”

Kathy’s sister Rosie Pierri was always such a great part of the show, and now that Kathy, Rosie, and Teresa have had some well-documented family drama for several years now, fans wonder if they could ever repair their relationship. Many viewers like when RHONJ is about family so this would be a great idea.

4 Dolores Cataina

RHONJ fans supported Dolores Catania at various points, and like her co-stars, she has been wrong and also been compassionate toward her castmates. Dolores brings a lot to each season that she has been on, thanks to her long-term friendships and her interesting relationship with her ex-husband Frank.

It seems that Dolores is a popular housewife. Reddit user MaddyKet is glad to see Dolores returning for season 12, writing, “I like Marge and Dolores.”

3 Jackie Goldschneider And Her Sister

Fans learned about Jackie Goldschneider’s family tragedy, as she talked about not talking to her sister for years.

Reddit user Sumjonas would love to see Jackie’s sibling join the show and wrote, “I’d also love Jackie’s estranged sister to come on, but I think there’s a very slim chance of that happening.” Reddit user GreenlandBound agreed that reality series are great when “there is a real relationship involved with the current cast members.”

2 Kim D

Reddit user GiggyVanderpump would love to see “KIMS D & G” come back to RHONJ. Kim Granatell had a small role in seasons 2 and 3 of the show but it was an impactful one as she was friends with Danielle. Fans remember Kim DePaola as the owner of the Posche boutique, which used to be featured on the show all the time, and of course Kim D’s Posche fashion shows were often the setting for huge fights.

Some of Teresa’s biggest RHONJ arguments were with Kim D, and fans would be interested in seeing what would happen between them if Kim D ever became a housewife, or even just a friend of the cast.

1 Dorinda Medley

Reddit user vodkasaucepizza would love to see Dorinda Medley from The Real Housewives of New York City join RHONJ. The fan wrote, “Time for Dorinda to move to Jersey and reign over the franchise she should have been on in the first place.”

It would definitely be interesting if Dorinda re-joined the franchise but became a cast member on another city. Chances are that there would be major drama between Dorinda and Teresa, as sometimes there is tension between the OG cast member and a newcomer.
