The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider spoke candidly about the impact of last season’s drama on her marriage and family. Jackie also revealed how she and her husband, Evan Goldschneider, explained the situation to their four children and how they were ultimately able to move forward. Hopefully, fans will be able to see how when the show returns in February for season 12.

Jackie has been a cast member on RHONJ since season 9, which premiered in late 2018. Throughout the years, Jackie and OG cast member Teresa Giudice have had multiple blow-outs, including allegations of stalking, usage of the C-word, and just plain bad blood. In season eleven of RHONJ, which aired in early 2021, Teresa Giudice alleged that there were cheating rumors involving Evan Goldschneider. This sparked a contentious, season-long feud between Jackie and Teresa. However, for Jackie, the real struggle wasn’t with her co-star, but with her marriage and family as a whole.

In an Us Weekly exclusive, Jackie spoke about how she handled the cheating allegations and how they affected her entire household. Regarding Evan and the accusations, Jackie said, “I think we always innately trusted each other.” She added that she actually never believed the rumorsWhile Jackie assured them she never doubted Evan’s loyalty, she expressed guilt over putting her husband in that position, and she even considered exiting the show because of all the negative attention on their bond. Luckily, she changed her mind. “We just realized how strong we are, and that it would take a lot more than this — even in front of the whole world — to pull us apart.” Jackie didn’t hold back when talking about her eleven-year-old daughter, Alexis. Jackie shared that this was the worst part of the whole ideal, having to reassure her kid that they weren’t going to get a divorce or let their family fall apart over unfounded rumors.

For the Goldschneiders, season 11 was a “big learning curve” which ultimately strengthened the family’s trust in one another. “We realized how valuable it is to really communicate with each other and to talk things out. We dealt with it, we handled it, we stood united, and in the end, we all forgave each other and made up and moved forward.” Jackie, currently on her fourth season as a Real Housewife, has definitely had her share of ups and downs in the hit reality show.

Throughout the years, Jackie has proven to be a formidable cast member on RHONJ. Her long-running feud with Teresa, her tense disagreements with Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin, in addition to her friendships with Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga, make her a valuable addition to the cast. RHONJ  season 12 premieres on February 1st, and the trailer promises explosive drama and wild blow-outs, but this time, it’s Jennifer Aydin’s marriage that takes center stage.
