Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel has reportedly sold her New York City residence and has no plans to continue living in the city. The reality star and businesswoman previously appeared on the Real Housewives seasons 1 through 3, and then seasons  7 through 11. Since exiting the show, Bethenny raised money for Ukraine and has focused her energy on her business endeavors and humanitarian efforts.

Bethenny was a polarizing figure during her run on Real Housewives and often clashed with her castmates to her fans’ delight. Always outspoken and bold, Bethenny’s interactions with the other women on the series led to many memorable moments and she coined many catchphrases including “Get off my jock,” “Go to sleep,” and “Life is not a cabaret.” Bethenny eventually decided to leave the show to focus on her businesses and brand, including her podcast, her liquor brand, and her side business selling real estate. She has since added humanitarian to her resume, with the inception of her BStrong Foundation, which provides relief to people in emergency and crisis. Bethenny has long been embroiled in a custody battle with ex-husband Jason Hoppy over their daughter Bryn.

Recently, the reality star has reportedly sold her SoHo loft and no longer has any residence in New York City. On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy dubbed Bethenny “Jackhole of the Day,” for leaving New York. Andy explained, “She’s leaving New York City. Her SoHo apartment has reportedly sold, she plans to split her time between the Hamptons and Connecticut.” Andy went on to praise Bethenny for her efforts to raise money for emergency aid for the people of Ukraine, saying, “I am so proud to see Bethenny show up and deliver time again for people in need. By the way, Bethenny could just spend her days flipping houses south of the highway, but she’s helping people instead.”

Bethenny began BStrong in 2016, and since its creation, the foundation has provided much-needed supplies and relief efforts in the Bronx apartment building fire, Kentucky tornados, Haiti earthquake, and most recently, in Ukraine. In her personal life, Bethenny is engaged to Paul Bernon, a businessman and film producer. The CEO was first spotted sporting a large diamond while on vacation in Florida in 2021 which led fans to speculate about an engagement. Since then she has shared many pictures of her and her fiance on social media.

Although she plans on leaving the city, Bethenny’s representative, Jill Fritzo, hinted that she will continue to have a presence in the city scene. Bethenny is certainly strongly associated with the city after her run on the Real Housewives of New York City and is known for being a tough, real, outspoken, and ambitious city girl. Fans of the show will not be able to watch her anymore, as Bethenny won’t return as a housewife anytime soon. Still, the Skinnygirl founder is always on the move, and fans are curious to see what she does next.
