RHONY: Bethenny Frankel Posts ‘No-Filler’ Selfie To Slam Plastic Surgery Rumors

Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City called out some of her Instagram followers after the authenticity of her youth was called into question. The star made it a point to promote a natural, makeup-free, and filter-free appearance in order to set an example for her children. However, that’s where the drama began.

Previous housewife and star Bethenny has been included in discussions about celebrities who undergo plastic surgery to maintain their youthful appearances. But the 49-year-old Bethenny maintains that she has never been under the knife. Earlier this year, fans noted some apparent changes in her face — from her jawline to her overall facial shape change. Dr. Alexander Rivkin, an aesthetics specialist added to the conversation by saying, “Her face has a more feminine, oval shape, whereas before it was more square and masculine.” These speculations haven’t seemed to bother Bethenny all that much.

Bethenny set the record straight on Instagram when she posted an all-natural selfie. The filterless, makeup-less selfies proved once and for all that the RHONY star has not had plastic surgery. In her post, she expressed the need to see more natural-looking women with the oversaturation of “filtered, contoured, eyelashed, extensioned & retouched” images, to show her sons and daughters what a realistic female body looks like.

The post was strangely met with an array of comments, doubting the star and how “real” her appearance really is. Many of these doubters called into question her statement about not having any work done by mentioning the possibility that she may have received fillers or botox at some point. Bethenny followed up with these comments with some words of her own, saying that she had Botox a number of years ago in order to combat jaw issues that stemmed from grinding her teeth. She replied to other comments, reiterating that she’s never had any work done and saying, “Hi angry person. Nope… you can see my face up close on my story.” Finally, she followed up with another photo, a close-up of her forehead wrinkles, simply stating that she’s earned them. Besides from injections, Bethenny has also stated to have had breast augmentations earlier in her life.

The former The Real Housewives of New York City celebrity has recently made an effort to start eating healthier, as her daughter talked her into trying out a vegetarian diet. This follows a nearly deadly allergic reaction she had recently to fish. Luckily, her boyfriend Paul Bernon was nearby with her epi-pen. Bethenny, the mind behind Skinnygirl, has made it a point to promote a healthy, natural lifestyle.
