RHONY: Heather’s Feud with Leah Interfering with Show

Heather Thomson from The Real Housewives of New York is said to be embroiled in a nasty feud with fellow housewife Leah McSweeney, and the fighting has become so bad that filming has been interrupted. Fans are anxious to see if it will play out in the upcoming season.

There have been rumors that the “Holla” back girl was not meshing with the housewives since she left the show back in season 7. The mother of two joined the cast in 2012 for season 5, and fans easily gravitated toward her and her no-nonsense attitude. But since Bravo released the trailer for the upcoming season 13, viewers started to formulate their own ideas about what was going down between the ladies, especially since McSweeney called Thomson a “Karen.” In general, fans were thrilled that the Bravo network decided to bring back Thomson since she had a bond with the older women and felt she would mesh well with the new blood, too.

Now, new reports have alleged that Thomson flat out refused to film with McSweeney after the fight at Ramona Singer’s Hampton party. The fashion designer has always been a moral compass for the group, so fans are surprised to hear she did not get along with the Married to the Mob CEO. According to Page Six, the rest of the cast is relieved to have stopped filming, but Thomson herself is in shock about the fight since she did not know McSweeney beforehand.

Naturally, fans can assume the exchange became messy, and more will be shown when the season airs. But McSweeney has wasted no time in defending herself against the claims that she bullied Thomson into submission. She took to her Instagram stories to share that after the fight, she had reached out to her co-star to apologize but got no response. She has since deleted her story but also added that she does not like women who “sl*t shame” other women or make fun of their plastic surgery. In a fit of rage, she wrote she doesn’t like “white women who call black women’ articulate’ especially acing like the queen of wokeness.” If McSweeney’s deleted stories are any inkling to what may have happened, it looks like there could have been a heavy conversation.

Thomson has been known to throw digs at her fellow housewives for their plastic surgery. She mentioned she liked Sonja Morgan’s old face better and also spoke about Luann de Lesseps. Bravo viewers were hoping to see more of the brunette, but it looks like her return will be short-lived, and the rest of The Real Housewives of New York are moving on.
