RHONY: Luann de Lesseps Broke Up With Personal Trainer Garth Wakeford

Luann de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York has announced her split from short-term boyfriend Garth Wakeford amid cheating rumors. The mother of two has been trying to get her dating life and sobriety on track, but it looks like she is back to the drawing board in terms of romance.

De Lesseps has not had the best of luck when it comes to picking the right guys. She married Tom D’Agostino married in 2017 but divorced seven short months later. Since then, she has been reaping the leftovers from Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer. The reality star met Wakeford out in the Hamptons, as he lives locally to her Sag Harbor home. She was immediately smitten by his pictures, and after they met in person, she decided he was dating material. Recently, there have been rumors that he is seeing another Hamptons local.

The Countess has spoken, and she is now living the single life, which is OK with her. De Lesseps spoke with Page Six to confirm that she was fine with the break-up and set the record straight about the cheating rumors. Fans recall that the couple met via a dating app, Hinge, and he will be seen in the first episode as a housewife boyfriend. Wakeford is a South African trainer who has been spotted out and about out with other women as of late.

The mother of two told the outlet that she and Wakeford “stopped dating before the holidays, and I only wish him well.” The outlet also reached out to the personal trainer, who also acknowledged his relationship had ended. According to him, the mystery girl he has been spotted with as of late is just someone he follows on social media.

Neither revealed why they decided to end their relationship, but Bravo fans believe it will be shared in the new season, which is set to premiere in early May. Fans did catch a glimpse of him during the newly dropped trailer, but do not know much more. Only hours after confirming her split, De Lesseps was spotted partaking in a bit of retail therapy. While she tries to nurse her heartbreak, the women of The Real Housewives of New York will have numerous single men to try and set her up with as long as they are willing to part with their little black book of numbers.
