RHONY: Ramona & Luann Are Reportedly Returning For Season 14

Rumors are swirling that Ramona Singer and Luann De Lesseps are the only women from season 13 returning to The Real Housewives of New York City season 14. The women have been on the popular Bravo series since the show aired its first episode in March 2008. At the time, both Ramona and Luann were married to their respective ex-husbands and living the life of a typical New York City mother and wife.

Since season 1, the ladies have started to focus more on their relationships with each other rather than their families. As the seasons went on, the RHONY women became known for their dynamics between each other and not their family lives. During season 13, which starred Ramona, Luann, Sonja Morgan, Eboni K. Williams, and Leah McSweeney, the viewers saw the ladies discuss different life struggles such as racial issues in hopes of bringing a new dynamic to the series. However, the season didn’t go as planned as it ended short and with no RHONY season 13 reunion.

According to the Housewives Instagram fan account @dorindadeadly, Ramona and Luann are the only women from season 13 returning to season 14. The most recent season of RHONY consisted of five main Housewives, including Ramona and Luann. The other women were Leah, Eboni, and Sonja, as well as Bershan Shaw as a “friend of.” According to this report, the other three women from season 13 will not be making a return next season. Eboni was only on for one season but made history as RHONY’s first Black housewife. Leah was a main housewife from season 12-13, while Sonja has been on the show since season 3. While viewers have loved Sonja, who has a new comedy cabaret, and her funny antics for all these years, she hasn’t offered a new storyline since she started on RHONY 10 years ago. 

Besides Ramona and Luann returning for season 14, there are reportedly five new women who could potentially be joining the cast. Those women include Lucia Hwong Gordon, June Ambrose, Carolina Bermudez, Kamela Forbes-Matheson, and Sandra Ripert. Long-time fans of RHONY may remember Lucia, who is a close friend of both Ramona and Sonja’s. In fact, she’s made several appearances throughout the past 13 seasons and even was a major player in season 11. Lucia asked Ramona if Sonja would be invited to her birthday bash, to which Ramona replied by furiously shaking her head, “no.” As for the rumors surrounding Dorinda Medley and Jill Zarin’s return, it doesn’t seem like they will be joining season 14, at least not for this upcoming season.

Even though viewers aren’t too happy about Ramona likely returning to The Real Housewives of New York City, fans are excited to see Luann making a return. As for the new rumored Housewives, fans are hoping these women will help bring RHONY back to the way it was.
