Cindy Barshop joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City for season four and never returned. During her time on the show, Cindy had quite the presence but was rarely given the chance to show who she was on-screen. The season followed her life as a business owner of Completely Bare in New York City. She also allowed the cameras into her personal life as a single mother to twins, whom she had with her ex-fiancée.

Even though Cindy seemed like the perfect housewife on paper, she didn’t captivate the audience like Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and even season 13 newbie Eboni K. Williams. However, some viewers felt Cindy didn’t get the chance to really show herself as a housewife and are hopeful she might return someday. Nonetheless, the mother of two has been enjoying life since she left the series.

After her time on RHONY, Cindy grew her brand and started her own business called VSPOT Medi Spa. It is a women’s health spa in New York City that offers services such as “vaginal lasers, tightening, radio frequency, orgasm shot (o-shot), vaginal lightening, v-steam, and femilift,” according to the company’s website. The 56-year-old started her business in 2017 in NYC and later expanded the company out to Philadelphia. Besides the several treatments they offer, they also provide 24K gold wax, along with LED lights, to help fight against ingrown hairs and smooth out the skin tone. Her company also recently came out with their own serum called OH The Big O, which was featured in the popular women’s magazine, Glamour.

In August 2019, Cindy announced to People that one of her twins is transgender. “When a child feels comfortable and open, identity issues are able to be discussed in the family environment,” she told the news outlet at the time. “I believe living in creating an open and positive home, so they are able to express themselves.” Cindy’s daughter, Zoe, and transgender son, Jesse, were featured on RHONY a few times when they were very young. The mother of two didn’t discuss her son at the time, however, she is now using her platform to support the LGBTQ+ community. Cindy also introduced a new man in her life, health professional Jay Cardiello, a couple of years ago.

Since leaving The Real Housewives of New York City, Cindy has moved up in her career and personal life. Not only does she have a thriving business, but she has a new man to share her life with. Plus, she is raising two beautiful children and teaching them to be loving and accepting humans. It’s safe to say Cindy didn’t waste her short stint on RHONY and instead used it to propel herself to the career and life she has today.
