RHONY: Why Ex-Star Barbara Kavovit Thinks Dorinda’s Alleged Firing Is ‘Karma’

Former “friend of” from the hit reality series Real Housewives of New York City Barbara Kavovit has not been featured on the show for over a year after her departure from the series. Now, she is coming out with some interesting thoughts on Dorinda and some other cast members.

Barbara was introduced on RHONY as a friend of Luann de Lesseps. The former “friend of” was praised by Luann for helping her through her sobriety. Unfortunately, by the end of the season Luann and Barbara’s friendship could not continue on past the show. Barbara did not mesh well with many of her cast members and now she is coming out with juicy gossip.

According to Reality Blurb, Barbara took part in a recent Q&A session with her fans and followers on her Instagram stories and took aim at her former castmates Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer. “What do [you] make of Dorinda [Medley] getting fired,” a fan inquired. Without skipping a beat, Barbara replied, “Karma is a b*tch.” Dorinda had announced in late August that she will be leaving RHONY after six seasons with the franchise. Not too long after she announced her departure, there were rumors Dorinda was actually fired due to her mean behavior she exhibited while drunk on this past season. Another fan asked about her friendship with Sonja Morgan, to which Barbara replied, “She’s not a friendly person.” Barbara then went on to say that Ramona Singer, “like COVID – just doesn’t go away,” and when it comes to the newest member Leah McSweeney she added that she “lovvvvves Leah.” Barbara included more updates on her friendship status with the ladies of RHONY in the Q&A by letting her fans know she still keeps in touch with Tinsley Mortimer, Bethenny Frankel, and other “Housewives from the past!”

Of course Barbara did not forget to update the fans on her status with her former best friend Luann. Barbara told her online audience that she did not have anything nice to say about the Countess. She added that Luann “owes [her] a commission” from selling her upstate home after the drama she went through to help her buy it. Barbara, along with Bethenny Frankel, helped Luann get into rehab after her drunken arrest in December 2017. The two seem to have not spoken since the reunion last year .

Dorinda is not the only cast member of RHONY Barbara seems to have a dislike for. Barbara has spoken out about her other former cast member during her Q&A and she does not seem to care who is listening.
