RHOP: Ashley Darby Denies Cheating Rumors Surrounding Michael

Ashley Darby is speaking out against The Real Housewives of Potomac fans’ latest cheating speculation about her husband Michael Darby. The couple has faced some of the most scandalous bouts of infidelity on the show, but Ashley has always chosen to stick by her man’s side. She’s doing the same as Michael’s facing mounting suspicion after he was photographed hanging out with a mystery woman.

Michael has been at the center of the drama due to his love for nightlife and spending time with other women. While Michael has admitted to sleeping naked with another woman in a hotel, he has always claimed his innocence of the cheating allegations. He’s the only husband in Housewives history to get accused of groping a producer and Michael has even openly admitted to wanting to get intimate with Robyn Dixon’s husband Juan. Because of Michael’s questionable behavior in past seasons, viewers constantly have their eye on him whenever he’s out in public.

Most recently, Michael was photographed hanging out with a group of friends. A mystery woman sat alongside him as he seemingly noticed an onlooker taking a photo of him. “The look on Michael Darby’s face,” Bravo Obsessed captioned a tweet showing a screenshot of the Reddit thread that asked what Michael was “doing here without ASHLEY?” Many fans responded saying the photo had no context and didn’t prove if Michael was up to no good. However, a few days after the photo first surfaced, Ashley took to her Instagram Story to deny the claims. “This article is bogus,” Ashley wrote in a post captured by Jays’ Reality Blog.

She explained how her husband was at a wedding over the weekend with friends he had for over 30 years. With the Darby’s sharing so much of their marital woes over the seasons, Ashley confirmed that if Michael were out behaving poorly, she wouldn’t hide it. “Michael and I will always be transparent about what’s happening between us,” Ashley added. “Leave the fables to Aesop.” The couple has been going strong after welcoming their second son Dylan early last year, but not without some mild issues. In RHOP season 6, Ashley opened up about her life as a mother of two and Michael was called out after criticizing Ashley’s postpartum look. It was the second time he’s shown this behavior after the couple admitted to suffering from a lack of intimacy after welcoming their eldest son Dean.

Ashley works hard to keep her marriage strong, even if she gets criticized by viewers over it. Michael’s flirty behavior has made him a target on the show and though he did a good job at staying out of the drama in season 6, the potential scandals are never too far away. The Real Housewives of Potomac is currently filming a new season and hopefully, Michael doesn’t do anything to get himself in trouble.
