Karen Huger’s first-ever fragrance, took over a year to create. An alluring and sophisticated scent, it embraces the glamour and passion that The Real Housewives of Potomac celebrity embodies. Karen spoke to US where she mentioned that she wanted to be in the beauty industry ever since she was a little girl. Speaking to HSN, who’s a retailer of La’Dame, she confessed, “The last thing I put on after I get dressed is my fragrance,” before adding, “As a child, I knew what a signature fragrance was.” Karen considers her late mother as her inspiration for her empowering Eau De Parfum. “I have such a wonderful, fond memory of my mother always wearing her signature scent and telling me that all things were possible,” she shared while speaking about her mother having held the prototype in her hands and blessing it. La’Dame is not a copy, doesn’t smell like anything else but showcases Karen’s exquisite taste through its lingering notes. “I really wanted a fragrance that had a citrusy smell but also an exotic aroma so I added the spices and florals that I love,” she said about La’Dame’s combination of feminine yet powerful notes. But the bottom notes with sheer musk which Karen thinks as one of the most important ingredients that make the scent – retailing at $80 for a full perfume and $25 for a rollerball version – sexy, feminine, and enticing.
