Candiace Dillard Basset from The Real Housewives of Potomac recently slammed Porsha Williams during a recent interview for being Team Monique. Candiace has played the victim card a lot during her tenure on the show, and most recently, after an altercation. However, only two people know the truth: Monique Samuels and herself.

The fight between Candiace and Monique is still raging, months later. There is a clear line drawn in the sand with housewives standing on either side. While it is obvious that both women have extreme anger and control issues, fans are split down the middle on who was to blame. Candiace had been known to use her tongue sharply, and Monique seems to have had enough. The group has been left in chaos, with Andy Cohen trying to pick up the pieces at the reunion.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Part one of the reunion took place last night, and fans were treated to quite the spectacle. Candiace got into it with Ashley Darby and Monique after she brought her her book of receipts. Before the reunion aired, Candiace sat down on the Behind the Velvet Rope Podcast with David Yontef to slam a fellow housewife who isn’t even on her franchise. The beauty queen revealed that there is “always a line, and we’ve seen a lot of housewives push the envelope.”

As the conversation progressed, Candiace explained, I think Porsha and Kenya kind of took it too far, but you’ve seen alot,  LeeAnne when she like pulls off her belt, and she’s coo-coo for cocoa puffs. So you’ve seen people push theline but never really cross it outside of Porsha, who is, has proven herself to be the sidekick of all.” The Potomac housewife refused to hold back as she continued to say, “I guess Monique would be Porsha’s sidekick. Just the two wild people defending each other, which is very cute”.

Candiace went on to imply that the two women had no “scruples,” and the outburst was due to how they were raised. Whether you agree with her sentiment or not, Candiace has said her piece from day one and was upset that the charges were dropped against Monique, who she felt deserved to be held accountable for her actions. It is doubtful that the two women will ever be friends again, and it is still unknown if either will return to the show for the next season.
