RHOSLC: Jennie Reveals She’s Estranged From Niece Tiff After Viral TikTok

Jennie Nguyen is speaking out following shocking allegations made against The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newcomer. The show newbie was recently called out by her own niece who posted a now-viral TikTok blasting Jennie for allegedly faking her storyline. According to Jennie’s niece Tiff, she and Duy Tan are faking their storyline after allegedly suing their family members for money. Fans have been wondering if the accusations hold any weight. But Jennie is seemingly shutting down the claims from her estranged family members.

Lisa Barlow helped introduce her friend and fellow housewife Jennie in season 2. The Vietnam native recalled her rough childhood and journey to America by boat and shared her past struggles with pride. Her family dynamic with her husband and four kids appeared happy and wholesome until Duy made his plea for more children. But after the episode aired, Jennie’s niece took to TikTok to blast her “disgusting” aunt and uncle’s “fake” storyline. Tiff claimed Duy’s push for more kids doesn’t “make sense” because he “didn’t take care of his kids when they were little.” Tiff accused Jennie of using her parent’s resources when she was down and out and even suing them to attempt to funnel more money out of them.

Since making the shocking accusations, show fans have wanted to how if they’re true. One curious fan reached out to Jennie in her comments section and asked “What is the story behind your niece calling you out?” Jennie explained her confusion with the attack that came from a niece who wasn’t even born when she recalls living with her family. “To be honest, I don’t know,” Jennie said in a screenshot captured by Reality Blurb. “I haven’t talked or seen them for over [nine] years. She wasn’t even born when I was in college struggling,” More of Jennie’s followers have asked about the claims but she’s opting out of fueling more into the story.

Show fans have taken a liking to Jennie as a potential replacement to Jen Shah. She came on the show in a friend role but was quickly bumped up to full-time status due to how much she ended up filming. With Jen possibly headed to prison for 10-30 years, producers had to bring in some backup in the event Jen has to leave the show. But Jennie hasn’t failed to disappoint. Her marital woes with Duy and involvement in verbal spats make her the perfect addition to the show.

Jennie has already exchanged words with Mary Cosby and broken up a fight between Jen Shah and Meredith Marks. Despite being the newcomer, Jennie is one tough cookie. But Andy Cohen will probably bring up Tiff’s accusations against Jennie at the reunion. With the accusations being made offscreen, it’ll be up to the producers to force Jennie to open up on the show. The tears that Jennie and Duy shed when talking about having more children didn’t look fake. But no one knows you better than your own family. Considering the scathing claims made against Jennie, she’s clearly the perfect addition to all the drama on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
